It’s what they did with the shoes from a few years ago, maybe not in as much detail. But if you check the Kyrie 1s, Kobe IV/V/VI, they have a ton of colorways including some custom ones not available to make with the editor. Most of the shoes that the guys wear get released to the public so they don’t necessarily even have to be true PEs.

Can you post some samples of your work? Kobe v x-ray, Kobe 8 Venice beach and maybe a few others? I’ll be on the fence for about a year but this could be something to look forward to and make the jump a little quicker. Some pc players hijacked the ps5 pro threads but Jason Kidd’s likeness was the only one that impressed me, I can honestly live with the others, correct shoes on the other hand is a game changer for me personally and adds so much more life to the game for some odd reasonComment

What can you do with shoes via mods for the PC that you can't do on console versions? Can you change the color of patterns, or add base models (like the Kobe 5 X rays)? etc?
The last I heard a few years ago all you could do was have an increased amount of custom shoes and you could easily change brands for players, but I think that was a roster editor mod function.

At the very least they need to add a lot more patterns. For now for the Kobe V X-Ray I’ve made the base layer that purple-ish blue and then the top layer the sky blue. Not exactly close but doesn’t look bad.Comment

It would be cool if you could put a design over the shoe and download from their server (similar to that T-Shirt maker that got them in trouble since it was online lol). If they allowed us to use a photoshop template and then download it to whatever pair and shape it, that would be great. I know they have tons of shoe templates, but if they allowed you to reshape by area, you’d only need a handful of templates for low, mid, high.

It'd be nice if they fixed some models also. The Kobe V's are probably the best example in that they have been in game forever, yet the editable areas are still wrong. The toe on them is not editable as it's included in the 'base' category, while IRL the toe in many colorways is often a different color. As is the small area above the heel. In game it's considered a part of the lining, yet IRL it's entirely separate. It's not like this shoe has a lot of editable areas and they can't add more. It's an iconic shoe, used in just about every other game in today's NBA. Even the brand new GT Hustle 3 is a mess and that has a pretty minimal amount of editable areas yet the in game options are just wrong and terrible. I could go on, but I'm sure everyone has examples they think of immediately.Comment

Great to see that Nike finally added a retro KD shoe in the game.
It's also good that 361 is starting to be more active by adding the BIG3 5.0 earlier in the season and now with the DVD 3 and Zen VI. Hopefully, we'll get Jokic's new shoe in the next update.

I also hope Adidas decides to add back all their Fear of God collaborations & the Crazy Infinity from last season. I wonder if licensing issues is why they removed them?

I just need the GT Academy, KD 4's and KD 7's to be added (or unhidden & editable) & I'm good with Nike kicks.
