I'm wanting to play a MyNBA season with the Spurs but add Anthony Edwards to the team, is there any way to force this? I tried trading everything I can but Wolves won't give him up, is there a setting to re-configure players before starting a season that I couldn't find? Or some way to override trades to force them through.

You could just edit the roster in the main menu and put Edwards on the Spurs, can't you?

yes, and through rules i also deactivated nba cup, so i dont have it in the season
so if there is no nba cup in the regular season, why it shows the courts?

How do you do the creeping forward/retreat size up? 2k mentions this under “ dribble tips” in the Learn 2k>Film Room, but I have no idea how to do it or if it’s even possible.

Can someone kindly educate me on the training workload in mynba? What does it actually mean? Like ex..if I set high for a player, are they going to train high intensive or do they skip high intensity workouts? I've been so confused over the last couple 2ks and always leave it on low.

In the WNBA, there were two problems that I'm wondering if they're fixed.

You couldn't do contract extensions normally (off-season), so you had to edit the player and change their contract.

Player mentorships wouldn't save.

1. Do sliders also work in MyTeam in CPU mode? or only in MyEra?

I asked this question in the NBA 2k24 thread, but was never answered so I’m going to ask again for anyones help.

Has anyone experienced this when playing 2k24 quick play, Every time I use the classic Bulls vs Knicks or Hawks. The gameplay matchup for the Bulls would have Pippen matched with PG Doc Rivers instead of B.J. Armstrong defaulting to auto. Frustrating part is I would change it to auto and it converts back to Scottie Pippen causing the PG to guard the SF position on the court, it throws the game off with constant defensive mismatches in the post. I’ve never seen this before when gameplay matchup is not in auto default before you are manually able to change it and doesn’t stay changed afterwards. Every time Doc Rivers is on the floor Scottie Pippen is matched against him and doesn’t allow to change to auto. Help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure why this happens, but I’m gonna assume it’s coded that way (I wish we could edit those matchups ourselves like in instances when it’s the CPU guarding you). I’ve never seen what you’re talking about, but also on 2k24, when I would play as the 2001 Sixers vs the 2001 Lakers (cpu), about halfway through the first quarter, Shaq will start guarding Iverson. It’s not simply a cross match either. When I would inbound, Shaq is guarding Iverson every time. Fortunately, I haven’t seen this in 2k25.
