Jeez. I just bought the game too, so now I’m on the hook for hoping it gets fixed cause yeah it’s unplayable as it stands. At least for me I have a while of roster building to do, which would be for nothing if this issue doesn’t resolve.

I have no inside knowledge or know how hard it is to fix but I’d expect it to be fixed sooner rather than later. Main reason why i believe that is because it affects MyPlayer too and 2K would be foolish to ignore it. And they’ve acknowledged the bug on numerous occasions. A fix is coming.

I can see potential for this being a fun 2k version. But until rotations and the fatigue issue are fixed it's no dice from me

Regarding rotations, What is your opinion on CPU fatigue? I don't think it affects them. For example, I just played against the Raptors and Barnes, Quickley and Dick played 48, 48 and 42 minutes respectively, and the Raps only used a 7-man rotation (one only played 6 minutes).

Despite playing with a fatigue indicator from the second quarter for the rest of the game, Barnes and Quickley seemed not to suffer from fatigue, they ran the court at full speed, attacked the basket, dribbled like they were in the park and were accurate in shooting, especially Dick... Barnes scored 14/30, Inmanuel 12/22 and Dick 10/18... The CPU fatigue was at 60, but I'm going to try 75 to see what results I get.

I'm putting MyNBA aside until a patch comes out, and I'm going to spend time on Myplayer (which I never play) so I don't feel like I've wasted my money.

It’s troubling. Fatigue does absolutely nothing to the cpu. They still sprint full speed all game, and get tons of fast break points with no energy.

I haven't monitored each player's minutes but I can confirm every player with full 4qrtrs has 49 minutes as playing time in the box score. Idk if this could lead to more issues inside MyNBA. SGA of Thunder just dropped 54pts on me in...49mins. I've tried everything but he was unstoppable for 4qrts, the fatigue icon didn't even appear for him. His highlight reel was like the best moments of Jordan's career.

They better fix the rotations timeline tool.
At the present it does nothing not because of this scrappy rotations/minutes bug, but because it literally doesn't save.

It worked perfectly in 2k23. (I skipped 2k24)

We had that for the whole year in 2k24. I've sent in tickets with videos to 2k support last september. Nothing happened. 2k25 is here and rotation timeline still doesn't save. The first patch arrived now 1.004 and no sign of any fixes for the widely reported rotation issue or the rotation timeline issue. So if they didn't fix it in a year they don't know how to fix it. It is a legacy issue and probably who knew something about it was replaced by cheaper personnel. 2k is trash, money grabbing mode.

Seen someone said this somewhat works for a workaround, haven’t personally tried it…..


Possible workaround found! When the game starts switch sides. While controlling the opponent go to coach settings and change the ACE to Rotation. Then switch back to your user team. The opposing team now will sub normally. You do have to sub for yourself manually

I've posted about the workaround but it's not a full solution. Most of the times the cpu star players won't get subbed especially when they dominate the game. Still the workaround is alright for a MyNBA initial practice run but 2K needs to react fast. The game is fantastic, imo the best since 2k11, but us offline gamers can't be again treated like this. This bug should have been spotted before release, no excuses.

Exactly. This problem was already last year. I played an entire season with games lasting 24 minutes, and the best players on each team were on the court for 22 minutes on average. And it was never fixed. This year is worse because fatigue is also broken. doubt they will repair it. I don't trust Visual Concepts and 2K at all.

I can unfortunately report this made little to no difference, game is shelved as it’s basically broken

You’d have to do it for the cpu as well, kinda takes the fun out of the game at that point

I am embarking on an epic roster edit and now am officially concerned I will be wasting 100s of hours.
That rotation timeline tool is a must for me. I play, well watch every game in my league and setting the rotations through the tool makes the cpu gameplay so much better when you can set legit rotations.
