There are so many little things they added in the post up area alone. I've noticed the CPU goes for steals now that's very cool. Especially if you have to and start dribbling down low.

I've been "gate keeping" on Joel Embiid go to shot. For a post up player it's exactly what you want. "Immediate pressure on the rim drive". Especially if you've established going right for anything. Here is the entire animation in the below link. I didn't even mention the step back that happens after the hard drive to the rim. It's pure nasty.

I'm thinking about making a video series about each post players go to shot. Because I didn't know if everyone knows. But everyone has different animations once in the "close area".

Another secret I've been keeping. Jalen "****ING" Brunson in the post. 98 layup, 98 close, 86 Fade, and 83 Post Control. It's completely unfair to ask your PG to cover him down low.

I hate that there is no camera angle in practice mode that resembles broadcast cam. It’s always been hard for me to practice post moves and pull them off consistently on broadcast cam in between the first and second half of the game.

Also wanted to mention. I've tested rhythm hook. But I don't think it's possible. First off the green window would be ultra small. It's already super small currently. There are these"quick hook" which would be unfair to ask anyone to time them. They usually happen for a fake. I showed them last year. I can't imagine flick in a direction just to get the release with tempo correctly.

I’ve been playing 2K since the original on Dreamcast and been playing ok broadcast since like 2K1. Aside from my faceup, post fades and hooks, my post game has been pretty inconsistent. Same with the dribbling. I’m a “stick slapper” (no diddy) at times when basic moves don’t work. Outside of Sim, this is the biggest reason I’m so into Xs and Os each year.
