Re: Who is still shooting on high risk? And why?
If you have the timing down then high risk is very rewarding.
If you add in rhythm shooting and its probably broken lol
For the sim experience low risk is probably the one that generates the best results.
You can still miss perfect releases with it.

I play with real teams also. It depends on which patch/update you are playing on. When I first started this thread, I was under the belief that normal release was the best. But now, I am not sure if it is normal or high risk.Psn: Alabamarob

Re: Who is still shooting on high risk? And why?
This with default sliders. Luckily it seems that the shot coverage slider still works with low/normal/high risk and hence you can lower that and you will be able to hit even contested shots on low risk, albeit still much less frequently than with high risk if you know your release well (but in that way you remove great part of the impact of player ratings from the equation).
I would really like for 2K to introduce a true slider that governs contested shot making so that we could control it directly instead of doing so indirectly via the green window or diminishing the impact of the contest. Or at least have the shot coverage work only for the shot contest without lowering the green window overall (just introduce another slider to govern such a thing).Last edited by amioran; 09-13-2024, 03:14 PM.Comment

Rhythm shooting is so much fun. I’m on normal but may drop back to low. I’m always shooting step backs with 77 and the green windows change depending on the shot animation . And he has a ton of step back animations.Comment

It's a math problem you got to figure out. This probably the most user dependent things 2K has ever put on the user.
From my understand if you don't care about releases that much. Low is the way to go. But if you care about every single release. High Risk is what you should do.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Who is still shooting on high risk? And why?
This visual cue stuff is wack because the animation is too damn fast and Mike didn't give offline shooters customize Visual cue to our liking
That alone I'm starting to despise online🤦Comment
