Czar said that defensive Dpad quick settings were removed. Why I dunno, doesn't make sense or is it possible with that stay attached setting which should've been explained in the learn 2k but great explanation by you guys they figured that it wasn't needed? I still think its needed

Yeah, I remember this setting use to only affect the screener in pick-and-roll situations. I was testing it out in practice mode against the Timberwolves. I can finally say goodbye to the days of my center hugging Rudy Gobert in the corner. This has really improved my paint defense.

Yep. For years guys have ran 5 out with 1, 2 or. 3 non shooters on the floor. It was disgusting and it made me control the defender of the non shooter. Now I can gap the dudes knowing the help will come.

I am gonna fool around with the help defense button to see if that is affected by the defensive settings. Rondo defense

my first impression (while Not having it tested thoroughly) is that the help Button is influenced at least by the offball d setting. if you Set someone to deny, this Player will never come to help or double, even when using the button to call them. need to test if this is the same will stay attached, but I think it is. and also the other way round if you Set someone to stay attached never and offball leave him, will He be the primary defender everytime you Press the help Button?
