I just can’t ever remember it working reliably for more than a possession or 2. Manual switching is better, but we shouldn’t need to do it.

It’s not some cheat code. it may prevent the 3 but there’s a mismatch now. 2 mismatches in fact. This risk and reward from strategic decisions is needed. Badly.
    It can’t all just be 1v 1.
Very inconsistent. First thing I noticed is that players don't switch offball screens during inbound plays.

Players usually switch on simple off-ball screens. But problems come when the opponent runs some plays like double pindown screens. I've seen players switching on the second off-ball screen but other times they don't switch at all.

Essentially this. I said guys on OS found it could work on Superstar and HoF but it seems totally hardcoded and out of the users control.

like you say, not constantly. and even if the team communications says "switch" above the players heads, sometimes they dont switch and if I then go to the new matchup with my defender, many times the AI defender also stays with the same man, leaving the other player open. unfortunately manual switching is better even though you cannot control who is switching. if I manual switch, it's not rare, that someone completely different leaves their man for a switch.

These dudes really out of pocket. No Da Czar slander should be tolerated. Sim Nation wasnt some 2k marketing strategy. Sim Nation arose from the minority of us gamers that wanted to "Play basketball, not video games"......

Da Czar might be the only person who was speaking out on behalf of the sim crowd that had a voice. He was teaching ppl real life basketball concepts through a video game. Who was running plays or even cared about plays and systems before Czar came along? Now Sim Nation is a fraud? That's crazy and I could tell more OGs aren't around anymore to step in when these dudes talking crazy like that. Some things may not work as intended but who do they think is responsible for all the systems/freelances/strategies we have now? Do they think Da Czar is a programmer and codes the game also?

And then you should 10 year old videos to prove otherwise. I don't think it's fraud, I know he cares about the integrity of sport through a video game, but I don't think his voice is really heard. 2k is all about online crowd nowadays. I mean the default roster is so awful that it's hard to believe. People here appreciate improvements but they have the right to call 2k out on some things. To see how much people put work in to get 2k to play like a sim basketball is mind boggling, it's like it's their second job. 2k should hire those couple of guys here that produce these awesome rosters/sliders to show that they care.

You’re sharing the best clips of 10years ago lmao.

To be fair, Da Czar doesn't do any of these featurettes anymore. It's kind of hard to show newer examples when they don't exist.

Plus, I think the truth is the game is bigger than just 'Sim Nation' and the hardcore part of the audience is small.

Most 2K players are online (only) and not doing all the offline playing/editing that folks on OS do.

I’m interpreting that as the CPU adjusting if we leave everything on automatic.

Exactly, so we need to play at higher difficulty for better AI response?

But does the AI overrule the settings we’ve set for the CPU.

What does any of that have to do with what I said regarding Czar? And What difference does it make if the videos was from 20 yrs ago vs yesterday? You still wont find anyone breaking the game down sim wise no matter how long ago it was. Since it was 10 years ago, surly someone else should have taking over speaking out for the sim crowd by now, right? Point me in the direction of any of these content creators speaking on the sim aspect of 2k.

Not as in depth but just from last year:

I didn't say one word about calling 2k out. My post was all in reference to the Czar. Czar has nothing to do with the default roster. Nobody even knows if the Czar has anything to do with defense and the settings.

Hiring guys from here would prove not one thing. They did that with Da Czar and you have ppl in this thread "calling him out". What makes you think their voice would be heard more the Da Czar?

Do people who represent Sim Nation get sent to those 2K days and stuff like that to test the game? I'm sincerely asking; I'm not sure if they do or don't, but I'd be willing to bet it's mostly skill-gap MyPlayer/blacktop "influencers." It would explain a lot
