I'd understand it if consoles were significantly cheaper, but they're super expensive now, and people are buying like 2 or 3 of 'em. If you add to that the cost of whatever one's home computer is, then one is basically getting the worst-performing, least-feature-rich version of the game for the same price as the best-performing, most-feature-rich version. Like, even if you want to play the game 100% without mods, you can fold your console expenses into your home computing expenses and play a better-performing and less restrictive version of the vanilla game. The console route just makes zero sense to me unless online MyPLAYER-based competition is a major part of why you play 2K.

I don't check that thread often, so I don't know what's being posted (and it's worth noting that just because you're playing on PC doesn't mean every player model, every court, every stadium, etc. you're using is modded, particularly in this case being so early into a new gen on the platform; it's quite possible that you're being "not impressed at all" by 2K's default models), but I don't see how it's possible to not be impressed by the improvements being made by the top-tier cyberface creators, like those below. I get that people have different priorities, but "not impressed at all" is wild, unless you're totally indifferent to player likenesses altogether. But maybe you're just not seeing in that thread what actual, high-quality cyberfaces look like; I dunno.
    Man, i agree 100%

    And look, i have a Playstation 5 and a Notebook gamer, with i7 13700HX and RTX 4050 6VRAM. I play 2K21, 22, 23 and 24 on PS5 and Xbox Series. 4K 60FPS.

Now, i play 2K25 on my note gamer. My Note runs the game in HIGH, but textures in MEDIUM (because of VRAM), 1440p. Look, PS5 resolution is better, but overall graphics, with mods, my RTX 4050 DESTROYS PS5 version!

        Exactly! I upgraded my notebook, I went from an i7 13700HX + RTX 4050 6GB VRAM to an i7 14700HX + RTX 4070 8GB VRAM... Let's see if I'll notice much of a difference, it'll arrive today!

This is the way. Online comp = Console. Offline sim = PC. You’re just punishing yourself if you do it any other way.

Well I have the Series X and I got the PRO and yes there is a difference and a pretty big one. Its brighter the colors look much richer on the Pro and its almost like its true 4k.... best way I can explain it is the series x would be 1080p and the Pro would be 4k. I have a Samsung QN90a Tv which is pretty high end so the difference is definitely noticeable

Well Xbox Series X better come with a big Console Update to compete then since it bragged about how many Teraflops it has. And we all know Xbox series X has the power to match the pro .. it’s just a matter to unlock it-
