I dont see how some of you guys can do that block trick and not feel like you cheated the system afterward...

I know I personally couldnt do that lol... Id wind up avoiding the sense of accomplishment from having earned it legitimately...

But I guess everyone has their own way of getting it...

Besides everyone and their grandmother has stacked teams anyway so It helps to get all the players you can get to level the playing field.

The only way to get it "legitimately" is if you happen to get enough blocks along the way. I was just playing the game like normal struggling to get 4000 points. I beat Miami with a full bronze team by 20, had my leading score with 25 points, all around great stats.... but 4000 points.

I don't feel bad going for blocks at all because the scoring system is 100% broken. It's not my fault that it's literally impossible to get 6000 points without at least 8-ish blocks.

i give up, played 17 teams and had 3 stars 5 times and got terrible players each time. I want to use my gold players so I can actually win in this mode but nooooo they only get x1. I hope the last 3 teams are worth the struggle getting there

But if you go for blocks and run directly out of bounds every time you get the ball, you can get 6000 points!

Normally that's enough to geht 6000+ points!
Did you have many turnovers, poor shooting percentage, did the oppenent score much (high fg%?)

Its official, Lebron is the grand prize in Domination mode. Had again 11000 plus points also. All these powerfull superstars on one team without even opening a single gold back yet. Im done with 2k myteam till they give us some historic packs because road to playoffs prizes are useless. Once again thanks 2k, I've never bought any vc ever and never will. GREEDY BASTARDS

I get 8000points only with blocks and steals.

I get foul calls 90 % of the time.... and my bronze big men have a low reaction

The stupid pts system is all bout defensive stats, minimum 15 blks, 25 rebs and maybe 5-7 stls with ZERO pts will give you 6000 pts and a 3 star pack. I usually get all this at the end of the 3rd quarter. Then cruise and run clock or freestyle ball in the 4th.

I wonder this too. I did manage 12 blocks once, by controlling my big men on D and focusing on blocks. But usually I get only 3-4.

Allow the CPU to go on fastbreak a which allow you to get easy blocks. If your in the halfcourt press Y and the CPU (PG-SG-SF) will sometimes go past you attempt to score in the paint and allows you to get blocks as well.

I can't get any more packs but I still play for MT points. I can get 12-18 blocks within the flow of the game. I'll play against the Hawks alot because they like to feed Millsap and Horford and they're not hard to block. The two best shotblocking bronzes in the game IMO are Mozgov and Chris Johnson and I use those two as my front line. I'll just control whoever is guarding the post player, back off so he's wide open then wait for him to start his move. It just takes practice to get the timing and positioning down. Maybe using the 2K camera also helps.

this mode may be the worst mode I've seen in any sports game. whoever thought of this deserves to be kicked in the nuts by every single person that purchased the game. just pathetic. why the hell are blocks so important?

plus the fact there's no real difficulty level.. it's just hidden and seems to basically be "eff you I'm the CPU" difficulty bc it's ridiculous and nothing close to sim.
