I'm going to make an issue to score exactly 80, and I'll report back..

Okay.. It worked.


I lost badly, and I intentionally fouled at the end of the game just to make sure I got the 80...



Ended up with 82 points... 6 blocks... 5 steals... MyTeam Points: 6024... 3 Stars...

I lost by 30 to the heat and scored 79....got 6500 points.

80 is definitely the key points you should go for...

And yes I send messages to those who waste my time with that running down the time junk.

1st game was 8688 points. 2nd game was 8559 points. I take open threes and my points of emphasis are crash glass (both) and create chaos. It's pretty easy to score a lot this way, especially since 2k thinks Chase Budinger is the truth.

I don't know how some of you guys get that many points, I got 8082 for this game but seems like it should have been a lot more. I do have one bronze sig skill on my PG which I do think takes away some of my points. That's my only guess.

Just wanted to add this as a quick tip to people struggling to put up points... you can change your defense to full court press/trap and take one of the guys down by your basket and run him forward.

Doing this will get you quite a few charges, 8 second violations, back court violations (trap when the ball handler crosses half court) and turnovers as the computer is dumb and throws a lot of long passes out of bounds. You'll give up some easy baskets, sure, but you'll also get a ton of shots off. I put up 90+ points vs the Rockets and won last night doing this.

Another tip is to drive the basket with players who are not only fast but good free throw shooters, so when you draw fouls the free throws are basically guaranteed. This can add 10+ points to your score if you aren't doing this. I also make sure to crash the offensive glass and put my best rebounders at PF/C.

I had a game with 15+ blocks, 9 steals, and 68 points... 2 stars..



But everytime I get 75+ points, its an automatic 3 stars...

I do think 2K should probably put up a guide or an objective checklist for this game mode, we should be able to know what we're meant to be doing. Instead of taking random guesses.

No, assuming you are on PS4 push left on the direction pad (the same button you use to choose zone defense) then push R2 and you'll see the choices for full court press.

Haha, how long you been playing this game not knowing how to press/trap. Not being mean but that's a NOOB MOVE (Chris Smoove's Voice)
