I was having a very hard time getting 3 stars but I found a line up that works and got every West team 3 stars except the Jazz, their front court kills me.

I use
Barea/Maynor
Ross/Hardaway
Webster/Marrow
Birdman/some Bronze Legend from Bulls
Robin Lopez/Biedrins

Run 3out 2 in freelance
Man to man
Crash offensive glass
Crash defensive glass
Create chaos


I usually score around 78 points, 6 steals, and 6 blocks.
I just try to get as many players in double figures, I don't care who it is, who ever is open and making shots will get at least 10 points.
I usually use picks and shoot around 26 threes with a 40-50% fg from threes.

I rarely ever score more than 80 points and still get 3 stars consistently.

I still hate playing this stupid mode. I played a game this morning where I had 11 blocks - but only 4 steals, and 68 points. My total was 5919 - 2 stars. You would think the 11 blocks would have covered it, right?

Then I played again, scored over 80, but I think I had 5 steals and 2 blocks - this also gave me somewhere around 5900 points and 2 stars.

Same thing was happening to me. Just try to get as many players in double figures, don't focus on one player scoring as much as he can.

Getting 3 Stars was hard for me at first then it got easy i just 1 person with 20 and i have four other guys with 10+, i don't get that much steals i get like 2-3 and blocks i get from 5-7 blocks. But i keep on getting Carmelo Anthony.

Any mode where if you play right and win it penalizes you is awful. I have 3 stars on like 5 teams and I would not be surprised if I lost all those 3 star games. It's just the best way to earn mt win or lose so I'll keep playing.

I just don't understand why there is not a bonus for winning. It's so simple to add and would do wonders for this mode.

Yep, I like that idea. And I think that may have been the problem in my two games I posted above, I had one guy with 25+ points, and maybe one other guy in double figures.

This game mode is awful. I just had 60 points with 3:30 left in the 4th then all of the sudden what do you know?.....myteam goes ice cold can't hit anything. Did not change one thing about the way I was playing. Finished with 63 points. Fun stuff.

Why so many missed layups in this mode? I just don't get it. If there is that much contact that it's making me miss a layup it should be a foul.

It depends on the player, man.. Make sure the player has a layup rating of at least 80 before you start attacking the basket with them..
