I didn't think it was possible but this tournament has been the worst experience I have ever had online. I can deal with the diamond teams. The 3-4 jordans and 2 lebrons on one team. The back court charges. The trying to steal everything all the time. Playing players out of position. Post spin and dunks. The pausing when I'm in the middle of free throws.

But in today's tournament I experienced just true cheating. I played someone that was up 1 I took a charge. He pause glitched so I saw every frame of jordans pissed animation. The game disconnects and I lost because of the disconnect. No mt points nothing.

Just now I played someone that was lag switching on every free throw I took. I took a lot since he was constantly fouling me. Also when I was taking obvious 3s. I almost came back in one off strictly dunks.

I am so angry I can't even play anymore. Worst games EVER.

i have AI, Harvey Catchings (sixers), Demar Derozen (raptors), Mutumbo (sixers), and darryl dawkins (sixers), and i still says I dont meet the requirements.

Pretty sure it has to be current players from the Atlantic division...so you have one with Derozan. You need 2 more

Got 'em coach!

After struggling all afternoon and going nowhere, it was time to get out of the house. So once I got home, I prepared to lose again in the tournament but to my surprise, did NOT happen! I came across the ultimate cheese in the middle of the night which is what most would expect but after all the charge calls, Jordan dunks, etc. I still came out on top!

Game 4 and 5 were the worst, especially when the game just starts and the charge cheese has already begun. I was probably down by 12 during the start of my last game. I was worried. This guy was draining bombs with Curry and would always get me with the charge on the break. At the beginning of the 3rd after I took a 20 point lead he finally just quit.

Good luck to those that continue to struggle! Hope you can find an ANSWER!

Can someone please explain to me how this is still allowed? I thought they fixed it...

Luckily he tried charge cheesing every defensive play and I ended up winning, but still. Wtf 2k...

You have seen nothing yet, the sapphire Pippen tournament was not that bad, but this tournament is ridiculous. The other player might as well be using game sliders because I don't care what the situation is, there is no reason for my 95-96 MJ should be missing A+ shots. I don't get mad because that makes me play bad, but it's annoying. No matter who I use I can never get defensive stops and it seems that my opponent scores EVERY play and it takes about 20 plays before I score because he somehow plays perfect defense. Every pass gets intercepted and my players never even attempt to intercept passes and they just stand still even after I call plays.

I haven't played a ton of online thus far (few RTTP games), but I could not get the shot timing down last night. Shot like 30% from the field and 13% from 3pt land. Didn't help that my opponent had 5 MJ's and was trying to take charges almost every time down the court. Is the lag normally this bad in the online tourneys? In RTTP I never had issues with shot timing and I'm using largely the same team....

To be honest I have learned that i have been too engrossed into MyTeam to realize how it's not worth it for a diamond durant or sapphire AI if I already have another version. I understand that it is a desire/goal to get them if your going for diamond rose, but you have to understand that that is 2K's plan. This is their way of keep you playing 2K rather than going off to another game until 2K15. If you look at the big picture the entire limited locker codes theme is by far the worst idea in the video game industry(no I'm not angry I have diamond Kobe myself) that has so many flaws. For one, what if somebody has dyslexia and has trouble reading? That's not fair compaired to a man who pays for the highest speed internet which allows him to see the code way before everybody else. Along with the people who have to work or go to school. It's just unfair, a set time and time limit would solve a lot of problems

To be honest, every part of this mode and game you play is completely pointless. There are no leaderboards, there is no stat tracking, and you can't even figure out what your own record is.

Without this, this mode has little to no replay value other than to get trophies.

If that is really all he did, you have no excuses for losing. There are ways to stop that.

I tried double teaming, taking charges, & stealing but nothing worked. I dont see how its my fault when I did evrything humanly possible.
