Set the auction filter at 500 minimum/maximum buyout for silver cards and Gerald Green pops up. Sold him for 16750 MT. This was on xbox one.

lucky. I have never been able to snipe Gerald. I did snipe Wiggins twice and sold him for 8k, not as good as your deal but still good. I sniped a ton of cards over the weekend. I got 2 golds. I got Iggy and I got Demar. that was pretty much the highlight of the weekend though....although I sniped a lot of silvers, none of them were really valuable.

here is another thing I did though...I had burning coin on players i wont use, but I needed Deng to finish a collection and he was expensive. I think I got him for around 15k, did that and finished the collection and put him right back up and got my 15k back. about to do the same thing with Bledsoe...paid 15k for him. I do want to play with him though. I just hit 500 cards so I dont have to stress it. I need DeAndre!!!!

Thabo is a good, cheap option in lace of Tony Allen...although I will say he is nowhere near as athletic.

There is definitely a benefit from the athleticism Allen brings...and he gets to the FT line a lot. Also, you can make some jumpers with him...and I am always hit-or-miss with Thabo's release.

thabo isnt as athletic but good enough in transition for me. this year his release is MUCH better than last year even though his ratings are lower. I hit a good percentage from deep with him....whereas last year, he was the WORST so-called good deep shooter on the game because that release was horrible. I think his rating from deep was 87 last year and I know its not that high this year but much better percentage.

While Tony Allen is good in domination, I really didnt need him til near the end. Get Thabo and Jeff Taylor for an excellent but inexpensive defensive lineup that can hit the three ball. I had Thabo, Jeff Taylor (I kill with him) and Brewer in my lineup and I wreak havoc defensively. Really, Tony Allen was only good for helping me generate steals. I wouldnt dare hoist up a 3 with him in domination.

I needed all of them to complete collections and couldnt find them cheap. I did wait around until I caught Marion at 3k...but he had been no less than 6k for the past few days. I knew I shouldve jumped on him last week when I saw him for 1550. I shouldve jumped on DeAndre for 20k last night but was hoping to find him for 15k or less like dude said. now there is only one up for 30k.

I had a chance to snipe Tony twice but missed on him the first time, got him the 2nd. so I only paid 500 for him...but I have to somewhat disagree, in domination he was very useful....I put him in the line up with Conley and DT the ballhandlers and created a ton of turnovers/steals. He cant shoot but in the higher end of domination, I didnt shoot threes anyway.....just pounded the ball inside. So Allen was very useful to me. Now in other modes outside of domination, he's probably useless.

Well for 500 you can't really go wrong, regardless of who it is lol.

Outside of RTTP, he can be super useful. But in RTTP, the input lag just negates any defensive stats. At least that's how it's been in my experiences.

do you use Prigioni? not very athletic but can knock down the 3 and has 3 useful badges built in so can be equipped with up to 4 gold badges. I havent used him as much this year but he is really useful where bronze players are needed. I equipped him with gold interceptor and pick pocket. he can be of more use than Allen if used correctly.

Thomas was a good pull at 2k, but you can start smaller and make some profit. just a simple tip, not even advanced....just search through the silvers and find some valuable ones and resell. I did this briefly this weekend and did well. I got a Chris Andersen for 1k. I immediately sold him for for 3k because I knew his value. I spent about 15k on cards and flipped them for about 50k total. that allowed me to buy some higher priced cards like Deng and Bledsoe and finished some collections.

Lebron is worth nearly any price because he gets you through so many MT modes. Fortunately, I lucked up and got him from a domination reward.

Making MT in the Auction House is not difficult.

You need a system, that's all. Find something that is simple and repeatable....and keep doing it when the opportunities arise.

It helps to spend a little time every so often looking for bargains that you can resell, but even if you don't have all day to stare at the AH, you can still browse for 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there, and find some "investments".

You won't make a ton of MT right away, but gradually you will turn a "profit". Buy low, sell high....and remember the 15% "tax".

I don't get why guys like LeBron, Melo and KD are so high now. I bought LeBron for 25000 a couple weeks ago and there were even more that were a little higher than that.

The duplication glitch got patched so there's less on the market. Less competition, higher prices.

Exactly.

No one is flooding the market with duplicated cards driving down the price. If you love LeBron or are trying to battle thru RTTP, you are willing to pay a price for a LeBron card...or any of the other stars.

I bought what was most likely a "duped" LeBron one morning a few weeks ago for like 30-35K MT. It was loaded with contracts and badged up almost completely.

Now it has 32 Golds and the 1 Bronze Microwave.

I'm sort of curious what it would sell for these days...but I also sort of like having it. More for Domination Mode than anything else...

I wouldn't consider these "snipes" but I've been patiently trying to fill out my arenas collections and the cavs, Bulls, lakers, and Mavericks courts are ridiculously high priced I feel. I was able to get a cavs and bulls arena for 500 relatively quickly BUT my patience has paid off as I finally caught a staples center for 500 after several days of looking so now I only have the Mavs arena left. Haven't seen one under 1500 yet tho
