Re: Which legends will you all be targeting first?

I think I will wait to spend my VC on packs until they come out with the historical team packs. I have no desire to get historical players from half of the teams they offer. At least if I'm going solely after the teams I want, then I know I have a better chance of getting the players I'm after. I am a ***** of most things Knicks and Laker related, and it seems like half of the historic teams are taken up by those two. I want the 94-95 Shaq and Penny. I'd like Hakeem and Clyde. Give me Glen Rice and Eddie Jones. I don't need a ton of bronze Knicks and Lakers from the 60's and 70's. I've wasted about 40k VC on the 50/50 packs, and about 20k MT. I got Kurt Rambis and some no name Knick bronze. I think I've learned my lesson. I'm hoarding the rest of my VC till I can be sure I'm getting a decent shot at the guys I want.

I'd much rather have them RARE so that you don't have to play Jordan every single game. This is the problem with the card collecting part of this mode - everyone feels entitled to every card. Instead of just trying to put together a solid TEAM, they feel as though they should have EVERY card...

I know people are split on this, but I kind of like it the way it is.

But I also think this mode should be tailored more to those who are willing and able to spend MONEY, not just rack up MT. That's why I still believe that 2K should sell these players individually instead of selling packs and points.

I know some of you will say "No fair! You're just BUYING your team!". But that's the point...if I am willing and able to spend the money, I should be able to buy access to the players I want, not grind it out opening packs. I know this isn't a popular opinion, especially amongst those who REFUSE to spend money on the game...
Maybe i'm missing something but if players are sold individually everyone who wants a superteam will just buy those players and you'll be back to facing jordan etc 9 out of ten times... maybe it would get reduced to 7 out of ten times if we're lucky since some of the mt farmers might not convert to buying it. But still, it wouldn't fix anything imo.

What myteam needs are stricter lineup restrictions. Or, even better, have separate rttp's, one being unrestricted the way it is now and one with somewhat realistic lineup restrictions. Something like no more than two superstars (88-99), one allstars (84-87), two starters (80-83) etc... That way more ,if not most, people will be happy.

I would love the ability to buy individual players though, i'm just saying it wouldn't solve the annoyance of having to face the same kind of superteam most of the time.

Anyone think it could be Tmac? This week was the 10 year anniversary of his 13 in 33 game so im thinking its a good chance to be him - I hope anyway
