    Re: All-Time Dimers collection

So after being really lucky last night with these packs, opened up three more today and got some silvers not worth mentioning.

    Done with these I suppose.

        Re: All-Time Dimers collection

Opened up 3 packs, first pack got Ruby Andre Miller. It's the worst ruby but he has ok stats. I tried using him in game, AND HIS SHOT IS SOOOO BAD. It is impossible to time it. And his price has finally settled and he goes for nothing.

Is it just me, or does Gary Payton seem WAY more usable stats wise than Magic?

No, it's not just you. Defensively he seems like a machine.

I don't think its fair to rate someone over a 954 who didn't win anything. Like you said, he was a one-dimensional player who couldn't carry a team past the first round.

With that being said, Nash was one cheap shot away (arguably) from playing in (and probably winning) the 2007 NBA finals.
PG: '13 Chris Paul/'13 Dwyane Wade
SG: '97 Mitch Ritchmond/'01 Ray Allen
SF: '94 Scottie Pippen/'15 Andre Iguodala

Does anyone have Sapphire John Stockton yet?

I'd love to see what his ratings and badges are. Gold Stockton is a pretty good card already, but he's a bit too slow to keep up with the PGs that most people use online.

The been adjusting the ONXY's ratings. Kobe was a 94, D12 92, and Nash a 92 on that unlocked roster, but they all got boosted when the where release. I expect TMAC to be at least a 95. It's the Magics ones.

I have that Sapphire John, he's rated 93 overall, with 95 speed.

Magic's combination of size and speed alone makes him a better option. Rating wise GP is the better shooter for sure. GP defensive ratings are maxed. Defensively Magic is also a beast. Plus he can guard just about any player in the game. GP can lockdown PGs and some SGs. You'll have a better chance at guarding some of the cheesiest player like KD, LBJ, Melo etc with Magic. Magic is defiantly more useable stat wise than GP.

GP has a 99 steal, a better 3 point shot, better speed, and better defensive stats.

I think I'll take that over Magic's superior rebounding and size. (He's supposed to be a point guard...not a SF...)

To be honest Magic just seems like a Dimer Lebron without the strength or shooting range.

I could see playing GP at PG and Magic at the 2 maybe. But playing magic at the 1 seems really silly unless your opponent is running LBJ at point.

Back in the dayMagic usually defend the 4 man for the most part. Scott would shift over to defend the point, Worthy would check the 2, and Green would check the 3 man. If you want to tweak your defensive match ups that might be the best way to use Magic on D to take advantage of his size and rebounding.

You're mostly going to run into two types of players those that run LBJ at the PG and those that chuck up threes. Magic is defiantly the better defensive option at PG over GP to stop both play styles. GP just has a much better steal rating. All the other defensive ratings they're basically even.
Magic has a 98 ONB IQ, 96 PnR D IQ, 94 help D IQ. GP has 99s in all three, but Magic is 6'9" vs GP 6'4". Believe it or not Magic is the better defender in game.

Offensively Magic is better at everything but 3pt shooting. It's not like GP is lighting it up from 3 ether.

Magic size is more of an advantage than GP speed.

Yes Magic is the better option at POINT GUARD.

It's crazy that you find it silly to run Magic at PG when you're one of those LBJ at PG guys.
