I might end up putting marion at sf but for now i'm trying to figure out who'll be my starting sg going forward; vince, majerle or jrich. I wanted to get ray allen but he was still 50-60k last time i checked and that's a little rich for my blood. Or i might just try out that emerald or ruby butler if they're not too expensive.

I tried onyx boozer but his lack of defense really killed me, still need to try out brand. The rodman/mutombo combo was indeed awesome but their lack of offense did hurt me at times, especially when my perimeter players were bricking everything (which happens way too often). Maybe i'll just go back to rodman (or kenyon) next to sapphire lopez, that was pretty effective for me.

Plenty of options but at least my team is finally coming together. Only really want onyx vince now and eventually get antawn when they release him. Adding tmac will probably remain a pipe dream but i suppose i could always put paul george back in and pretend he's tmac.

Have you tried Nick Anderson and Ritchmond as SG? They are both cheap and great offense players. Also great for reserve are the bronze players Fredette and Morrow, more than once they saved me after my starters refused to get things done. I also like Onyx Monta very much, he was my favorite SG when I started to build up my team. Ruby Butler for around 6k is a bargain, he is real quick and quite good in everything, unfortunately I don't like the bulls, so he has no chances to get any playtime at all on my team. Good and cheap SG sapphire players are Derozan and Shooter Beal with a bit of luck and patience you could practically get them for free.

If Boozer isn't right for you as PF then you can ignore Brand too, he is also more an offensive player. Also great and cheap is Unseld, but he is like the Worm a defensive monster with limited offensive skills.

Onyx Wade, Onyx Allen
Gold LBJ, Gold PG13, Onyx Marion
Sapph Kemp, Onyx Amare, Ruby Garnett (92 overall)
94-95 Shaq, Gold Howard

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks. Yeah, I had Ruby Kobe as my back up, but he was part of the sacrifice to bring Shaq home. I've got most of the great Gold shooting guards minus MJ of course. Maybe I could give Diamond Harden another shot. He just never really fit for me before, but my play style has changed since I got him months ago.

Nick anderson is a little too slow for me but big thanks for the reminder on richmond, i keep forgetting to buy him. I already have sapph derozan, onyx monta, jimmer, morrow and regular silver beal. All were great but now that i have a choice i'm only putting players on my team that i like in real life. That leaves jimmer (usually on my bench) and onyx monta (did great for me, will regularly get him back in the rotation once i'm done trying out others). I assumed ruby butler would be way more expensive, i'll definitely be getting him.

I'll give brand a chance either way, he used to be one of my favorites and at least he's a great shotblocker. Unseld looks interesting, i hope they gave him his afro.

I'm thinking of re-acquiring Gold Lebron.

Don't normally get mad to where I purchase a player but I lost a game to a 3 point spammer and ended up picking up Moncrief who has 99 defense and great hustle, and picked up a bunch of defensive badges like pick pocket, scrapper, pick dodger, interceptor and upgraded them to gold so if I get mad I will just play off ball and sub him in on whoever is burning me lol. Sounds lame I know but whatever lol. Then picked up brick wall for LA and Mutumbo so they hopefully lay people out so I can get open. Also put scrapper and tenacious rebounder on both of them.

Ruby Kobe is a must have for the SG. Your team could use some shooting so Ruby Klay is an option.

Sapphire MJ is beastly. I know you can get gold for under 200k now on Xbox
