Wondering if anyone has advice for completing total Badge-out of Gold Oscar Robertson...

Picked up Gold Big O (< 80K MT on PC) instead of Onyx because it makes sense for me to stay within Gold restrictions*.

He comes with 27 Bronze Badges and I've been upgrading as many as I can. He has 30 Badge slots, so 3 free, and I've already plugged in Fade Ace and Lob City Passer into 2 out of those 3.

There's 1 more slot free...what should I add to him? If I could get Perimeter Lockdown Defender for a reasonable price, I'd go with that, but feel hesitant to drop 15K MT of Badges into a Gold.

Here's a list of his default Badges, over half of which I've gotten up to Gold along with the addition of Gold Fade Ace and Gold Lob City Passer. What would be a strong addition, aside from Perimeter Lockdown...or is that the only thing that makes sense for his last slot?

* Playing on PC so can basically never get an RttP game and stuck in Seed 8 currently. Also have a couple of the most difficult 3 Gold Challenges left to do (Two Brothers and 2K Cover).

Yep. Every PG should have Perimeter LD. Lob City Passer is ok, but Fade Ace was a bad choice IMO. Deadeye, Microwave or Limitless Range would be better.

Just switch to the 4-1 Freelance and run PnRs with Wilt. I have almost exactly the same starting 5, works really well for me. I like the Magic playbook a lot.

haha ye I know thanks for the advice - I'll give the magic playbook a try. Would you change something in the bench roster? I had to sell KG and got AD, but probably i'm going to save up for him again.... or maybe give Onyx Dirk a chance...

Just curious...when you run P'n'R with Wilt as the screener...you're mainly hoping he has a clear path to the basket for an alley-oop? I remember, in some other thread, possibly in Reddit, you were talking about the same with Dwight (perhaps wrong on that).

My main problem with calling for ad hoc screens from, say, my Center, is that the CPU's PF will rotate over to block the oop pass. Do you happen to have any suggestions on plays/playbook that features isolated PG/C or PG/PF P'n'R action, with SG, SF, and other big man drawing their defenders far out of the paint?

If the PF rotates in you dish it out to your PF who's standing at the 3 point line, ready to shoot. You've got to read the defense and take what it gives you. I'm not calling the screen looking to score with Wilt, I'm calling the screen looking to score or at least create a mismatch somewhere. Wilt is superb at this because he is so much faster than almost any other C, which leads the defense to collapse and someone to be wide open. That's also why Yao is so bad defensively, I like playing against him because I shoot around 80% as long as he's in. A lot of guys in RTTP put all your shooters on deny, in which case you get the lob every single time.

I actually collected some clips because I was thinking about making a video on running the 4-1, but they're all against the CPU since my computer can't handle recording online games (which already lag for me to begin with).

Just sold Ruby Blake Griffin to buy Ruby/Emerald Kawhi Leonard and Onyx Jerry Lucas (originally supposed to be Ruby Aldridge). Haven't faced either card but I obviously know about Kawhi because I beasted with the gold card but can any of you guys who have used these two cards tell me about them.

Also, I was originally supposed to buy Onyx Tim Duncan but that 15% tax interest came clutch, though.

I wouldn't call a Lineup without any real SGs and PFs solid. Get at least a sharpshooting Spark Plug like Drazen, World B. Free, Klay or Korver for the bench.

does it matter if they are out of position? and green has spark plug. any good shooter that can play defense? those players would be more of a liability starting imo unless they can play defense

Not really. It depends on how you play, the plays/sets you use, who else you have on the court, and who your opponent is playing.

For shooting plus good defense for not-high price, look at Ruby Klay, depending on what "budget" means to you. Or Onyx Havlicek or Ruby Havlicek. Ruby Hondo can go for around/under 10K (PC).

Now for my questions. Question number one, what badges should I add to PD Jordan? He comes with 32 golds, and I already added limitless range and posterizer to gold. What other ones should I add? Question number 2: I need a true backup PG, and I don't like to use Curry because I have difficulty timing his release. Who should I get to backup Rose for under 100k?
