a) There's no way to search for Duke players, which is highly inconvenient.

Taking two seconds to search "Duke NBA Players" on Google is highly inconvenient?

c) Even if, it would cost most people quite a few MT to get all those Duke players, making the challenge only worth doing to those that already have enough Duke players.

Almost all of the 18 Dukies who are in the NBA right now cost no more than 1K-2K MT to acquire. Sapphire Luol Deng is even a free collection reward.

J.J. Redick is pretty much the only guy who goes for more than 2K MT.

Obviously this wouldn't be a problem for you, me, or most of the posters here. But you can be sure that many twitter users would rage. And having to invest 10k+ into players for the challenge also cuts the reward in half at best (tax after selling back, plus those players will go up in price in the beginning). Again, not a problem to you or me, but strongly discouraging for many of the newer MT users.

If this was October I might agree, but the game is six months old at this point. Any new content coming out should be "end-game" content.

Madden, NHL, and FIFA are all putting out end-game content right now in their respective Ultimate Team modes.

NBA 2K doesn't seem to understand that concept at all, based on what's been released on MyTeam in recent weeks.

They don't need any more content catered towards new users when Domination, RTTP, and several dozen easily entered challenges already exist in the game.

Really enjoyed this challenge, but these restrictions have to get lessened. I'd be ok with just gold starters or something, but what's the point of having all of these ruby, onyx, and sapphire guys?
