Somewhat related.. How tf are the passing attributes applied in game?

Passing accuracy, I assume is how on point the pass is

Pass Vision - ability to complete passes in traffic ?

Pass IQ - determines what type of animation the player uses ?

Anyone know?

I have the same questions...especially with Vision and IQ.

I read about these somewhere in regards to last years game. Vision is the size of the passing window. So yes, that means being able to find players in traffic. (less intercepted passes)

A curious player rating to me last year and this year was Brandon Knight. His accuracy is always a lot higher than his vision. So I assume that if a player is open, Knight can hit em with a nice dime. If there is congestion, he is a more likely to get that pass intercepted, particularly by someone with high pass perception. These passes are harder to steal from CP3 and you will see a player reach but not be able to get his hands on the pass. Pass perception is the enemy of low passing vision.

IQ is the awareness. Using the scenario above....a player with low PIQ would be more likely to get his pass stolen or throw it out of bounds, particularly if he gets caught in mid-air. Like if CP3 drives and draws, then dumps to Blake once the defense commits....he did it intentionally so thats a high IQ pass that is likely to not be stolen or bobbled. If Jamal Crawford does the same thing he may not get that pass off because likely with him, he was gonna shoot and the pass was an afterthought. CP3 is more likely to do high degree of difficulty passing without turnover than J. Crawford. This is amplified even further with Dimer badge and Floor General boosts to chances of shot going in.

On another note, Anthony Davis is rebounding better than he did last yr and got a decrease. Maybe they can bump him back up soon

for passing...they SHOULD be using data like Assist to Turnover, unforced turnovers from passes, intercepted passes, etc...but with 2k, who knows.

Gordon Hayward has been chucking up threes like crazy so far this season, so it was a nice surprise to see his dynamic card get an update today.

I liked his regular gold card already, but now that he has an 87 standing three pointer, he might sneak back into my RTTP lineup since he has the very important Closer badge.

Harden should be back to Amethyst, but you never know when they'll be updated again.

These updates are pathetic, just when you think they're on it they go back on vacation. Afflalo has been shooting terrific but they have his three down to 73 still. They really don't care.

Harden should be back to Amethyst, but you never know when they'll be updated again.

and I have been wanting him too. I may see if I can snipe him before they update him. its funny because weeks ago when he was Amethyst, he was selling for between 80-100k, then he went up, then he went Gold and his price still hasnt come back down. He was on the AH one day when he was Amethyst for 70k, for about 4 hours and I didnt pull the trigger because I took it for granted.

I was hoping Bosh would go crazy long enough to get an amethyst but I don't see that happening lol. He is the best dynamic player I have. I have 1001 cards and like only 20 of those are dynamic though.

LeBron is only one point away from the Diamond tier and still has a lot of offensive categories that could be improved.

I think it's only a matter of time before he joins Curry as the second current-day Diamond card.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard may be playing better than LeBron, but I don't really see how their individual attribute categories could climb any higher than they already are.

all they did was cut/boost 3-point ratings across the board. incredibly lazy *** update. they lowered AD after the second update over a month ago. his rebounding took the biggest hit. since then he's put in tons of good performances, and nothing. these dudes are legit incompetent.
