He might come down in price, but I would say so. Best Kawhi in the game, other than the Dynamic (which could potentially drop below this DPOY). Definitely best Gold Kawhi and one of the best Gold wings in the game. 13K MT will pale in comparison to what you'll spend on Badges for this card if you have it in heavy rotation.

I sniped one really cheap (1,800), but if I had to, I'd pay 20K for it.

Yeah, the difference between superstars and stars has never been big enough in 2k. Amethysts are like 10% better but cost 50x as much. I did this a lot last year, played with one star PG, 3 3 and D guys, and a decent C like Sapph DJ.

some not even that. check my thread on it. An 89 ovr and a 90 ovr is virtually the same. 89 ovr might be better in some instances. DPOY Mutombo is excellent and probably less than 10k on the regular. DPOY Mourning is 1 pt ovr better but more importantly that gives him a purple border making him 6-7x the value. Amethyst Lillard is outrageous in price, and while Rockets T-Mac isnt exactly cheap, we are lucky it didnt come with purple border or it would be an extra 100k easily.

I wonder how much lower MJ will drop before the packs are finished. I see a good number of them in the 340-380k range(obviously ones priced higher than that as well). There is one at 300k(I told myself I'd get it when it drops to 300k) and I'm tempted to get it but that is still a lot of MT. I'm sure someone will get the one for 300k while I'm deciding.

Dynamic Dray has more total attribute points of all the cards out right now except dpoy jordan

I got Mutumbo for less than that. I bid about 4300 and nobody outbid me. Mourning is around 75-80k. The only Amethyst cards I'm chasing are Garnett (my favorite player), Pierce (Boston of course), And Scalabrine (who definitely didn't deserve an amethyst but still a boston legend)

The packs will come back anyway, they always bring them back at some point.

The only diamond MJ's will be the MVP one and the collector one for 2700 cards. All the other ones on 2kmtcentral that say fake or hidden cards are not coming out

If 2k doesn't let these packs expire then a lot of people who are looking to make a profit are going to be pissed. If the packs expire many of these cards will maintain their value or even go up. If they don't then they will sky rocket down, specifically the Amethysts because most of the gold are already dirt cheap.

I bought it anyway. I'm sure months from now they will bring the packs back(they did this in 2k15). I'm more interested in the immediate future though. The only other Jordan I had was moments Jordan. I could have bought the other one available before but I didn't really feel like it was worth it.


I seriously doubt if I'll pull(I can't even pull an amethyst now regardless of how many boxes I open) or be able to afford the MVP Jordan. Then the reward Jordan will take forever(because of the card count you have to get).

300k would normally not be a lot to me as I usually keep around 500-600k saved up but after the past week, I am flat broke. I have about 20k because I bought sooooo many cards. I got all the gold DPOYs, but they didnt cost much. Then I bought a lot of dynamics while they were cheap. I am only missing a few from having all the DR team collections and I am not missing that many free agents either.

even if I had the 300k I doubt I would buy MJ or Bird (my sweet spot would be around 150k so I could sell if I didnt like). They are nice cards to snipe or pull in a pack but that is too much for versions that have low 3-ball ratings when there are better ones coming. I will pass. I will just wait for a better shooting version of those cards unless I get lucky.

yeah, i was just speaking of the avg price, which I honestly havent checked in a while. got mine for like 7k on release day. played RTTP with him today and locked up Boogie. it was a great counter. the guy probably thought he would be able to dominate with Boogie as one of his golds until he met Mt. Mutombo.

DPOY Eaton doesn't dunk, just like his other gold version, and just like his card in 2K15.

It's a shame, because he's a beast of a defender, but he gets blocked too often on offense because he goes up with these slow, low layups.

I'm guessing 2K forget to equip some dunk packages on him, because he has an 80 standing dunk rating and a 75 standing dunk tendency, yet all he does is layups.

Has Eaton been updated? He looks a little promising on defense, but this would suck. If you had to choose between him and Deandre as just a shot blocker/rebounder who would you choose?

I need a backup anchor as Mutumbos my starter.
