I am not complaining, win-win for me...but 2k couldve increased Amethyst odds WITHOUT flooding the market with gold DPOYs. the problem has never been with with Gold cards, only Amethysts and high rated DR's were too rare. they need to learn how to keep the market balanced. Like I said, though, win-win because yesterday I almost bought regular Big Ben for about 14k, ended up getting him fully badged with 100 contracts plus DPOY version for about 8k total. lol.

But you are forgetting that these cards will be on the market for only 2 weeks. There is no point in them if they are rare and a small number of people get them and that is it. Once they are gone from the packs their prices will stabilize so its good that there are plenty of them.

Incredible how people are still complaining. You asked for content and better pack odds, 2k released nice content yesterday and the pack odds are alright so you dont waste your money.
Personally, I think 2k did a good job this time.

The only thing I'm complaining about is opening over 10 boxes and not getting one amethyst. It might just be because so many people are opening these but it seems like plenty are getting an amethyst. I haven't had any from packs since the opening month. It is just unreal lol.

I also wish I had grabbed KG when I saw him for around 200k last night. This morning I saw one for 280k and that was the cheapest. The loading of the cards is a bit screwed up at the moment. It takes forever for more to show up after you scroll over a certain amount at the AH Oh well.

Yeah, the rarity will increase when the pack goes away but I still wouldve liked for them to be a lil more rare because this year we are supposed to have more collection packs than last year. Also they will re-appear I am sure just as some of the collections did last year. I dont have much of a problem with it tho...like I said, the main issue was to increase the odds of Amethyst pulls which sounds like they did.

It was all MT. It is easy to say this after the fact but I could have waited and got all of the gold DPOTY cards I received for less than the cost of one box. I figured I had to at least get an amethyst after seeing other people get so lucky. It was still the same rotten luck since the first month. I guess it was my fault but seriously that is over 100 card packs with a player in it and not one amethyst lol.

I've pulled 2 Amethysts this morning for the first time ever. Sheer luck, I open packs with hard earned MT regularly just like you do. I'm done with pack openings until they release the MVP collection.

I have 230k at the moment but might wait and see if KG goes down to around 200k again. I'll have to build my MT up again. So I'm not sure if I'll get KG. I plan on getting Bill Russell when he hits the black market. Aren't those players only available for a certain amount of time? I've only been in the black market once and it was before Nash was there.

It will probably be longer than a month but hopefully I'll at least be back up to 600k by then. I'll make sure I don't go crazy on the pack opening and hopefully others have the same amount of amethyst(or diamond or whatever the case is) luck as they had this time.

I've used Ben Wallace in three online challenges now and I think he's just too small to play center in this game. I was getting dunked on and giving up rebounds like crazy.

His jumping animations aren't nearly as good as I was expecting. He barely gets off the ground even though he has an 85 vertical.

The only use Big Ben has on defense is as a power forward, or maybe even a small forward since he has a 98 on-ball defense rating and perimeter lockdown defender.

I like Mutombo much better for protecting the paint and grabbing boards. His 47 speed hasn't been a liability for me so far. But that could change over time. He does cover a lot of ground fairly fast since his player model is so long.

Thanks for the review jyoung! I'm getting badges and I was thinking to badge up Wallace. What do you think of gasol and eaton? I like the mid range rating gasol has.
