I agree. Do what Legitskillz says. Butler with speed shoes. Butler is an animal. Still, the reason why I recommend Klay is because his 3 ball is sooooo reliable for me. I can really rely on him.

Same with me. Klay is a superb outside shooter, and of course a high-level defender. Well worth the trade-off in athleticism and better defense in Butler (or Kawhi). But this may all depend on how well you shoot with the three.

If you're working with very limited MT (self-imposed), then expensive Badges probably aren't worth it. But cheaper ones can be: stuff like Pick Dodger for all perimeter defenders, Break Starter for all defensive rebounders, and Brick Wall for anyone who sets screens. Screen Outlet for the same. Those are cheap/er Badges that get used/activate constantly throughout the game.

Personally, I use a combination of Klay/Nick Anderson, lethal. Butler should work out fine, I don't know what he is going for right now but should be pretty cheap.

They both go between 2.5k and 3.5k at the refresh times. That should be fine. I just sold the players I got from the 6th seed reward packs, so I'm pretty set for coins in terms of buying two of the gold players I need. Will have to grind a bit for the 3rd gold player.

Kind of scared to go to the unrestricted seed before being set in terms of players and in result get destroyed.

Update:

Won the first game in the 5th seed comfortably. Finished the game with 23 assists, which always makes me pat myself in the back.

DPOY Noah has been awesome for me. His passing skills at that position are too good and have been using him and Larry Johnson to make a lot of high-low post plays.

Porzingis is so good. Would love to upgrade to moments. Maybe the Diamond hype will bring his price down.

Rubio, Rondo, Danny Green, Middleton, Carroll and AK keep playing lockdown defence and contributing on offence. Love how people kind of ignore Rubio and Rondo and I just to for the open layup.

Pretty happy with the team at the moment. Kind of feel that to loose I need to play against a skilled player, because my cards are doing the job for me at the moment.

I wasn't a fan of the Shoe boosts either when I started. But...I've learned that you can find some nice shoes for 250 MT that aren't too 'cheesy' if used the right way...or as a way to make up for some goofy 2K ratings.

I've used the OffCon badges...but not sure how effective they are. Have others seen them to be very effective?

I don't think the shoes are particularly cheesy but then there are different definitions and people have their own meaning of cheese. For Klay, he is just so slow for a SG....and the only boost shoe he has is for off/def rebound or +3 standing 3 which he doesn't need any of that. I force +9 speed shoe on him so he can get back in transition on O and D. Klay prob should be faster because 2k underrated some of the speeds upon release....after which you saw upgrade to Steph...who was horrible IMO. also they recently did Ish. as we have gone over before, Bucks Ray is really Celts Ray so they jacked his speed up....in order for him to be more than a spot up shooter, shoes are necessary.

OConsistency is effective....it depends because it coincides with what other stats a card has. Like Nick Anderson for instance....I don't use standing 3 on him, because he is 88. I either put +6 moving 3 on him because I shoot a lot of moving shots with him.....speed shoe, or OConsistency shoe. we know what speed does, but the Consistency shoe for him is better than boosting his 3 because I feel it makes him even more reliable than he already is from 3, plus his mid game.

i recommend OConsistency shoe for cards that have higher 3pt ratings than consistency....it brings them up to match. I don't use it on guys like Tony Allen or Iggy though....their consistency is already low. Bringing Larry Johnson from a 90 to 99 in consistency you will see a difference because his mid, 3, and post fade will all benefit. Likewise with AK47 bringing him up to 89 because you do want him to be as much of an offensive threat as he is on D.

put silver Kobe OConsistency shoe on LJ and Porzingas for 500k, see how it feels. It can't hurt, cheap, and will last you for 6 games. Carroll can wear these too, not sure about Middleton or Green but if they could I would do them as well. I know Rondo can't them though....he wears the same as Klay. It will increase their shooting reliability....and 250mt for 6 games is good for a +9 boost. perfect alternative if you can't afford a 3pt shoe and surely better than nothing. most underrated shoe in the game IMO.

Skillz, I thought I wanted a sharpshooter to basically be a better Danny Green but I'm not so sure now.

Because of all the things that you guys are mentioning I was thinking that another thing that Butler might have over Klay is that because of the speed, he can recover faster in transition and be less exposed to the fact that the transition defence is not there yet on 2k16.
Does this make sense or speed won't impact this?

speed will help him get back in transition faster. Klay is a lethal shooter, some say they don't have his release down....I do..but don't think its necessary because you have good room for error with him. I run a lot of plays for corner shot also some good curl screens and he is lethal, especially with speed shoe I forced on him. still, when you have a budget team like yours, I prob would favor Butler because he can do a lot of different things due to athleticism and his shot is reliable if you can time the release.

they all can wear shoes but are restricted to certain brands, due to endorsements mostly....like some can only wear Jordan brand. Lillard wears Adidas. Steph Under Armour. Klay wears Anta because he is a sponsor athlete. and so on. Converse for most players before the 80's. if you build up 10 shoes in your collection and you pull an 11th in a pack, you can put that shoe on anyone.

predator, yeah, Mutombo is slow, but Chandler on the other hand is a really interesting card, really really interesting.

Moments Drummond is also a great card if you can find him for cheap. Moments Whiteside looks better on first look but his terrible pick and roll D will hurt you in higher seeds.

I don't really see Butler as being more versatile on offense...at least not much. Yes, has higher top speed, but still on the less explosive end with just +2 Acceleration, so I don't see break guys down off the dribble with him. Maybe his animations are better, though?

it is a toss-up, its all about hitting that open jumper with Butler for me, thats where I make my choice. when I lose games it usually comes down to outside shot-making. I love PG13 and he was always in my 3-gold lineups last year but his inconsistency from deep made me put Klay back in the rotation and he suits my play style better. if you don't run a lot of plays for your shooters then I would go with Butler, but most guys don't know how to stop plays...this is my advantage in RTTP and you need to have reliable shooter to be effective with it even if to draw defense and hit the open cutter.

I'm also a little BORED with MyTeam and thinking about starting MyTeam per on a new account as the OP "ichi" did.

The question is....HOW?

I created a new PSN account...but when I went to play Online it said I needed to sign up for PS+....uh...what?

I'm not gonna pay for a new PS+ account just to create a new MyTeam...

So...is there a way to do this WITHOUT having to buy a new PS+ account?

if he's looking for budget though...I'd say Current Dwight. sooooo fast and strong. he can do damage....I used him at PF beside DeAndre before. no spacing, but havoc on D. putbacks and pick n roll all day. has Defensive Anchor and a lot more badges then those guys and a lot cheaper.

can't remember off top, my son has PS4, I have XB1....but they are all under my accounts. for PS4 I just created sub-account in PSN under my master....should still be able to do this. just doing PS4 account won't work.
