Wow...they literally updated all those players. except lenny of course tho. The inconsistency with which the support acts is very interesting. Some issues are never looked at, while this was taken care of a day later??!!

Well, good for us. That AK-47 is such a great card now with 21 badges.

doubt this went through "support". the support group creates and escalates tickets...which they are consistently SLOW at doing. the devs got ahold to this thread and just did and update. no need for support. wasnt a glitch or anything....just needed roster update. thats why it was fast.

I would personally add Microwave and Eraser without a second thought. For the 3rd one, Brick Wall would probably get the most use if you are utilizing him in PnR/PnP game. Also less expensive than Posterizer...and drains opponents energy as well. Cant go wrong with Posterizer either because he also has the fast break badges.

Yeah, I think...

Brick Wall: is just essential in a big. Hate to use a slot on something so basic, but it has to be done.

Eraser: for AK-47 to be geared as a strong defender, also essential. Has 91 Block and maybe can buff teammates' energy that way, in lieu of Posterizer.

Microwave: probably the offensive badge that ends up giving best bang for the buck. He's not good enough of a shooter that you'll want to be taking much in the way of contested or really deep shots, so should probably be taken over Deadeye and definitely Limitless Range.

I'm still in Seed 5 (second pass at trying for Seed 4), so this Badge update makes me want to try him in a 3 Gold lineup and see if he justifies the slot. I had used DYN Draymond before he went Amethyst just because he was so good.

But, since he went AMY, I've used the Gold slots on PG, SG, and SF (some mix of Westbrook, ROTY MJ, Klay, Rockets T-Mac, DPOY Kawhi). For Centers, I've mostly used Chandler and Valanciunas. And for PF, mostly 6MOTY Cliff, Shareef, and Faried.

But I pretty frequently come across guys with LMA at PF and who will go to him a lot for PFA's and other post scoring. So I think I need to bring in an athletic defender who can shoot fairly well at PF, and I don't think that anyone fits the bill as well as AK-47.

Are these cards safe to upgrade yet? I'm not sure but I went to upgrade chase down artist on AK and it took two inputs to get to silver. Not sure if it ate 2 from my collection.

I wouldnt until further notice or you will just be wasting badges also possibly risk getting another badge stuck in a glitch. have to wait til they fix it. like they fixed LBJ recently.

yes, bronze badges dont really do much, just gives you option to upgrade to gold without applying a fresh badge. no badge means you need to add one to get them to play like they would IRL. badges are hugely important. that AK47 with 21 badges and 7 personality badges will make him play almost like an Amethyst.

I don't think there's a central place to look, but there are a bunch of posts around the forums. Badges matter as much as ratings do. I'll help you out if you've got any questions, maybe in a new thread to keep this one uncluttered.

Fully badged Westbrook plays like unbadged Diamond. Especially with extra badges like Bruiser when he hits the lane. Gold badges are extremely powerful. For instance, if you have a guy that has volume shooter badge with microwave badge, that player can hit one shot and be hot....two and he's on fire.

Wait, why can't we upgrade his badges yet? I tried before seeing this but yea it won't let me upgrade anything. The only gold badges are the ones I manually added to him.

badges are glitched on certain players from time to time. the players that they just updated probably are glitched because of the update. its a certain way they have to do it. if Devs are aware they can fix it. if not, then we have to put in tickets and wait for support to make the Devs aware.

OMG! I didn't see this until now as The Division came out today and I have been playing it non-stop. Nash and AK finally got updated! YES!! Very pleasant surprise! Nash got some amazing personality badges including closer which I am thrilled about. AK has so many badges now I am blown away, as well great personality badges.

Not to be nitpicking, but they didn't fix Nash's plays. He still only has PnR where as his other card has 3pt plays as well and few others.. But I can live with that.

Probably won't be on 2k for a few days as I am loving The Division, but immediately I will be selling my DR Draymond and inserting AK back into my bench PF slot.

It's funny all the posts I made on 2k forums and emails back and forth with support tickets and no progress.. All of a sudden, the day after Synister makes this thread, BAM. Ah, better late than never. Thank you 2k devs!
