Bill Walton now has Alpha, Anchor, Primetime, DNA, Heart, and Fierce.

He shouldve came with Dimer though. He is the best passing big in the game, followed by Dray and Russell!

Yeah more foolishness by 2K, he's one of the greatest passers of all-time and he doesn't have dimer?

Also how does 05-06 Wade (even though he's not out yet) not have closer?? Do his finals 4th quarter performances not matter? Or what he did in the ECF? Or many great 4th qtr performances during the regular season? They're always underrating Wade and them making guys like Vince Carter better smh. No version of Vince Carter was ever as good as 05-06 Wade. They got Carter as fast and with the same acceleration as TBT Wade and faster with higher acceleration than TBT Lebron.

I'm glad they updated Walton. I've enjoyed using him before this update. Can't wait to get all his badges maxed and add dimer.

I put him on the list to have Dimer added. You can add if you want of course. Also, all of his badges seem to be upgradable....so no glitch.

I put him on the list to have Dimer added. You can add if you want of course. Also, all of his badges seem to be upgradable....so no glitch.

So glad to see my favorite Blazer finally get an update. However, I think I might have screwed up my card.

I assumed 2k would take forever to get around to fixing this card so I badged it up on my own trying to fill in the gaps.

I skipped Dimer because of course that would be added (doh!). As it turns out 4/5 of the badges I added were just added by 2k. Am I going to get my free slots back for the badges that were added automatically? Are my golds getting downgraded to bronze? Is this how glitch cards are born?

yeah, the glitch happens different ways...if you tried to badge him before the update, its probably glitched. I didnt, because I knew they would update him so I just used him with no badges. today I was able to upgrade all badges with no problem. best bet is to sell him and get a "fresh" one. you wont lose any MT really. I saw one this morn for 7800. just catch him on refresh, buy for about 8k and sell for 9 or 10k.

you dont get any slots back. if you had gold already it will remain gold.

Your upgraded badges keep their tier, well at least mine did. I got five empty slots back and the gold badges remained gold.

I badged mine up, but read above. If you started badging him pre-update, it could be glitched. its best to have a fresh card that hasnt been touched. and scramz is right about getting the slots back, I didnt clarify, I meant to say if you used a slot for a badge that he was not equipped with before or after the update then that slot gets used as an additional.

I can confirm that if you added badges to your Walton pre-update you may have glitched slots.

I tried to do 2k's job for them and had my Walton fully upgraded with 10 Gold badges (0 free slots). 4/5 of those badges were added in this update and maintained their gold status. I could upgrade the new bronze badges. My card looks like it has 4 open slots. I was ready to forgive the 2k MyTeam developers for everything.

I cannot put Dimer on any one of these empty slots :.

If you see this on the Xbox One market, don't buy it.

I saw the discussion in this thread, but thanks for the reminder. Because they fixed many Historic/TBT players before, and there were glitches with that, I didn't do anything with the MVP Walton I had. Not so much to avoid wasting the card as it was to avoid potentially wasting Badges. On PC, he's so cheap that a Dimer badge, for example, is more valuable. Today I picked up a couple dupes < 3,000MT, just in case his value goes up even modestly.

Also picked up a fully-badged Historic Russell today, so I've got the two best passing Centers in the game to test out this weekend.
