I actually lost my first domination game yesterday and I'm 99 percent sure I never lost any last year. It was heartbreaking. I got an and 1(I figured I could at least get 2 free throws but the and 1 was awesome) to take the lead by 1 with 3 seconds left.


Then I guarded around the paint to make sure nobody gets an easy 2 pointer. Horford got the ball and swished a decently covered shot just inside the three point line. It has to be harder this year than last(other than those first few games).

It's only hard because none of my defensive adjustments ever take place (i.e getting over screens to shooters, rotating from players who can't shoot) so you're basically stuck trying to outscore the CPU in order to win. Which you have to do anyway in order to win, but you get my point.

i'm so annoyed of this years release with all the bugs...how can you mess up essential stuff like PoE and substitutions? so basically I have to switch my coach in the franchise each game and adjust his PoE to the domination opponent? and not even that is guaranteed to work all the time. I'm more pissed than happy about the game at this point.

Well I can't get this 'cheese' to work for me but on the advice of the silver player threads I moved Okafor to the bench and started Embiid and it's like a wholly different game for me now. I've got lineups with Millsap at the 3, Okafor at the 4 and Embiid or Noel at the 5 and my interior defense is just mean when it's Millsap at 4 and Noel or Embiid at 5. Embiid is also ridiculously athletic as others have noted which is weird since his athleticism grade is pretty bad.

Getting Quin Snyder as a coach instead of Brett Brown has definitely made a noticeable difference as well.

I'm also liking the 3 out 2 in freestyle motion with this set up, my guys seem a lot more active and get in good position to feed the ball into the paint or cut around a screen.

Try starting Millsao at 4 and Embiid at 5. Run a 4 Out freelance like Pace and run high PnR between your quickest handler and Embiid. Either attack basket, dish to rolling Embiid, or, when either of these two threats draw the wing defender, find Millsap open for a corner three.

With Okafor and Noel try a 3/2 offense and grind the post with Okafor.

How do you get your player to cut to the basket every time like that? He only does it for me like 50% of the time at best.

it's still working for me with dirk. on top of that I think the MT calculaction is bugged...I realized I get +5 post move + 2 lay up !and! another +5 post move. I thought I missread in the first place but double checked and i'm sure you're getting +10 for postmoves currently. this is gonna be patched soon, so feel free to exploit this if you are having tough times reaching 900+.

I've got James Edwards who has 98 post-fadeaway and 97 shot close. Problem is his mid-range is atrocious. I haven't tried his PFA yet but he might be the budget answer as long as you can post-up low with Edwards

I'm about to try him paired with Reward Oakley. They look like terror on the board with insane rebounding stats - in addition the one able to do mid-range pick'n'pops, the other able to do the post moves under the basket. seems like a good chemistry and I will test that out for sure!

sorry for the late reply guys, just watch the video and see how i run the defender into the make shift screen... I have two more games to go and I will get Marion, Im thinking about getting Francis since he was my fav Rockets player back in the day....

I'm pretty sure it was the same last year, or maybe 2 years ago, and it was never patched.

thanks for this. it took a while to get used to. but i got it mastered now. i think i made a updated guide to this to show what happens and what to do in most scenarios, since i ran into most of the problems people here are having. im dealing with bad allergies so there no talking in the video, but i put instructions as well.


and yes this does work in the ALL STAR parts. the only things to worry about is when you face a team with a decent defensive PG (IE the magic/ Rockets) and when 2k feels like being 2k
