Can you recap the at least bold changes we almost MUST do? He has so much different settings some he goes post behind some 3/4 top it's pretty confusing.

I believe for the last ones it's Help, Help and No Roation, and for pre rotate you select no but YES for the 4-5 right?

      For the whole team:

      Switch rules: Switch guards
Screen help rules: Help and no rotation
      Help Rules: Help

Leave pre-rotate on no for everybody, Sam was mistaken about what the setting does when he made the video. Then, go to the Cs and put Screen Help rules on auto for them. The whole thing should take about 20s at most. I'd also set PnR coverage, but this is really the essential thing that'll help your defense a lot.

Has anyone tested those settings AFTER latest PS4 patch?

IDK, but there are better settings now. Here are my rough notes, not pretty to read but all the info is there:

          Defensive Settings:
          - ACE off
          - Universal settings:
          on-ball tight/off-ball auto/force baseline
          PnR defense: over/catch/over/catch/over
          3/4 bottom / no pre-rotate / switch all / help & no rotation / help

          Off-ball settings for PG-SF:
great shooters = deny, good shooters (75+) = tight, ok shooters = moderate, bad shooters: gap
          PG: extend pressure

Bigs: off-ball pressure 'auto' (only go tight/deny on extremely good shooters)

Ace packages 'POE': Shrink the floor/play physical
Only use these if you have set the PnR defense as seen above, otherwise the CPU will hard hedge

          Great post players: dig
Your big is very slow? try no hedge (center)

I am very sceptical on no catch on the screen

No help will ever arrive while your Center is responsible for both the roller and the ball handler in a 2 vs 2 minigame

I use no hedge and most of the time I switch to either my Center, or my PF to provide help

It only works with a mobile big (Big Ben, Rodman, DeAndre, AD).

Sam Pham settings doesnt work online, maybe only Cpu

The best way to stop the Pick and Roll is to play onball with these settings

                Go Under
                Stay attracted

Go over the screen youself and click on one of the wing plays to help on the drive... Video coming soon.

What do you do against Steph Curry? Won't a skilled user pull up on you just past the screen?

there's no "GOD" settings that will work with whoever against whatever, what I like about this game is you need to understand your team and your opponent and what you're both trying to do. I usually just make adjustments on individual players... I always use smother/tight on catch and shoot guys and I extend pressure on certain guys to get the ball out of their hands.

Sometimes I play a 3-2 zone if I have athletic bigs that can close out fast on the corners, but if your playing against a 3-point team don't bother, you'll get lit up
