So here's my full update as I'm exiting the collection grind game. I started with 500 cards and 500k MT last Friday and in 10 days am now at 1601 cards.

Very impressive in just 10 days and kudos for the collection list, the shoes will help me out a ton. I need to compare your list and the imgur to see which ones were missing.

I hope to reach 1600 within 2 weeks as well but I'm not going to sell me collection so I don't know if I should rush it. Everything seems super hectic right now because there are so many holes in my collection in every category. So hopefully I can complete some sets/pages and reduce how much time I have to spend every AH refresh.

Thanks! I literally haven't done anything but the weekly challenges and the auction house in the last 10 days but I made a lot of progress. I just tried to focus on things in chunks. I didn't even start looking at shoes until I reached 1100 cards. I would do a few cycles only looking at jerseys, logos, and courts. And then do a few cycles looking at players. I might have missed a good deal but it seemed easier to do it that way instead of trying to do it all at once.

Also, shoes are easy once you know what you're going for. I bought every bronze and silver shoe for 250 and had nearly all of them after my first run through. Gold shoes were bought between 350-600 with a few exceptions for the ones that turned out to be rare. Good luck on getting to 1600.

And even better I did it without locking in a single collection so I'm about to sell it all back and wait for better content to come out and you know... actually play the game instead of just looking at cards on the auction house.

Probably the first 500 cards were bought at the minimum or within 50MT of minimum. Then I raised my limits a little bit and continued the cycle. It wasn't until I got above ~1450 cards that I really had to start spending over 1500 to get cards. I ended up spending a little bit of real money as I ran out of MT at ~1520 cards but was a free player before that. Maybe I could have gotten there without spending if I was super patient but I was ready to move on. As best I can tell, I'm only missing 16 non-player items and 8 shoes. I have most of the current player collection too except for a few pesky high-priced bronze cards.

I used a version of this spreadsheet which I put together using this imgur gallery. Feel free to copy and use the spreadsheet yourself. @justlaze this has every shoe from the gallery plus 3-4 I found that weren't on there.

Good luck on the collection grind to everyone else and wish me luck selling everything back.

Not nitpicking, just an observation. Thanks again as you pointed out 4 shoes i never would've known i didn't have, up to 1859 cards now

I'll check it out when I get home from work and can look at my collection. I still haven't gotten around to selling shoes yet so it will be easy to verify. It's quite possible I missed on it. Thanks!

By the way, if you are already at 1600 Hill... I suggest you to go for 1700. You get king for 1700, and I really like him. He lacks 3,I know. But his midrange is top, even moving midrange is beastly. And I don't know why... But for me he can drive better than Hill... Don't know what it is, but he can break through a heavy on ball defense, he seems so strong that almost nobody kann hold him, even when heavily defended. Can't see this in the stats, but it is like that

True but it makes me want to save my 65k MT that could go toward collecting(I'm at 1512 cards now)on one of these new cards dropping today.

Hit 1608 yesterday by taking advantage of the pack hype. Didn't get the best deals but I filled out a lot of missing items.

Now I'll slowing make my way to 1700.

Just hit 1810 total cards and still missing 14 non player items that are super rare jerseys or historic courts.

Crazy to think when I get that additional 14 cards I'll be sitting at 1824 and still a long way to go before pink diamonds.

the Bulls jerseys, Heat alternate jerseys and a decent priced Lakers STaples center were hardest to get. All the Euro jerseys were just a matter of waiting out inflated prices

we are almost at the same card count. I have hopes that if they keep adding the cheaper moments cards (silver-emeralds) we can get to Jerry in about a month along with the other releases. those FA cards are crucial for the grind aswell, so let's keep these codes coming in here, so nobody misses out.

I went up to 1000 cards to get MRR and I don't feel keeping going on. Although Hill, King and Kobe feel enticing, I think I will be able to afford similar players with the MT I have and the amount I will get from selling almost everything now while it still holds some value.

I'm not interested that much in historic rewards either, except for Frazier and Clyde and will make a decision when their throwback packs will be released.
