Welp I thought I was done with my lineup but nope, somehow being bullied by Jerry West in a couple of games has exposed how tiny and frail he is. I guess it's not enough for me to win my games by a large margin, I also have to bully my opponent at every position.

I guess the best choice is Oscar unless I want to go out of position? Who's a big bruiser PG type left? I can't wait on a better Magic because I'm still using my USA one.

Haha same thing happened to me. Embiid got abused by Hakeem 2 games straight. Hakeem is now my starting center.

You have USA Magic? He's already basically the ideal as Bully PG. You just need to put speed shoes on him to run with the faster PG's.

Otherwise, Oscar is the other who fits into the ideal. Or, if you don't mind violating the taboo, Diamond LBJ with a BC shoe.

GP and Kidd can do a very good job defending Magic and Oscar, but I've had problems with both defending both those guys, at times.

I ended up winning a couple auctions for Webber and Kemp this morning and don't really know what to strive for, or even how to compose a lineup. I think I'm here:

In terms of why Webber at 4 and Kemp at 3, despite Kemp having the higher Speed w/Ball and probably faster in general, and Webber being shorter, is because Webber would perhaps be the better post-up defender.

But Webber should also be the better perimeter defender and so I guess this perhaps depends on defensive matchups. It may make more sense to put Kemp in at 4 with his height.

But I like the idea of Webber at 4, if not at 5, for playmaking out of the post in Horns or 3-2 sets.

I'm generally looking forward to seeing what it's like to have a small-ball 5 who can dribble and pass and run the floor. Had wanted Jokic for this reason, but he's unaffordable (and, besides...that 45 Lat Quickness).

Will keep playing a lot of Princeton Chin, as I have, but also take a look at Hawks and Warriors freelance with the Center/Big at top of the arc.

I think Kemp actually has the speed to play at 3. At 89/85/85, 230lb weight, and 6'10" height, I think he might actually compare to LBJ. With a shoe, Kemp could be 93/94/91. He's not great on Lat Quick or Contest, but would bring height and strength. He's not a ballhandling slasher or a knockdown shooter at the position, but he could be A LOT to have to handle as a post-up threat and I can clear space for him with all other four guys at least solid at three-point shooting.

Another thought is to go "small," with Kemp or Webber at 5 or 4, hard to decide which for which, and then basically traditional at 1-3. Think I can get away with that if opponent isn't running an overpowering post-up 5.

As far as what to strive for, one big goal would be to get either DI Hakeem or the new DI Kareem. Would have to sell off two big assets for that, at least.

Otherwise, the three or four DI pieces that are out right now that I am most interested in are: Diamonds Marion, Giannis, LeBron, and Kawhi. Wings who are more ideal Stretch 4's than the wings I have, IMO.

As a Golden State fan, I'm also awaiting and hoping for affordable Diamonds for Curry, Klay, and Dray (Durant's is not affordable). Diamond Draymond is the one I'd really like to see/get.

I'm also two tokens away from PD Pettit. I like PD Baylor quite a bit. And it bugs me that I can't rationalize playing time for Penny, D-Rose, Grant Hill, and others.

In general, yes. I believe that DI LBJ is packable until end of game, so he should get progressively cheaper. GP, however, probably has already gone up due to anticipation of a Kemp duo...will go up further if there is actually a Kemp duo.

Also, there is a profusion of very good wings. DI Pierce, DI PG24, AM Battier, DI Marion, DI Kawhi, DI Giannis are all excellent options.

The top tier of PG's is less crowded. Personally, I think it's basically Oscar, GP, Magic, Russ, maybe Stockton.

Went with your advice and picked up Payton. Did get the chance to run jordan and Lebron for the moments shaq challenge and it was a f@&$ing blast. But had to think long term value and I've been burnt before so not letting that happen. Not sure if I should go diamond kawhi or PG. this is the squad now

I just ran into my MTO nemesis again after not seeing him for over a month. He is rocking the Oscar & Tmac backcourt and it seems like Oscar or Westbrook is the go to cookie cutter PG for try hards. I'm thinking that I should mix it up a bit and run the new Wade at point. What's your opinion on the new Flash, endgame PG?

Edit: Also thinking about Pistol but his tendencies are dodo. I'd like my PG to be a ballhawking type with high on ball steals and pass interception.

Recently sold off my diamonds mainly because they didn't fit my play-style (had Moments Cards for Butler and DeRozan plus the Rodman.) and went after starting a new Amy/Ruby Lineup. Gotta say, I'm having fun with it so far. Played some idiot the other night who ran press the whole game. The main beneficiary was Jabari Parker, who dropped 17 points. Really like Debusschere off the bench as well. He plays the 3 and KVH takes the 4 because of his height. Since I've been running the Princeton Chin freelance, this works out nicely because the 3 and 4 are essentially interchangeable. Plus it gives him the opportunity to post on smaller 3s and 3s that are less effective defending the post.

EDIT: The three on the end of the bench are there to give help defensively in case I need it. Any suggestions for a cheap, lock-down center/PF?

Not sure what your budget is, but both Ruby Marc Gasols (Lockdown or Moments) are pretty good, and provide some shooting at the 5. As for pure defenders without much offense outside the paint, people really seem to like Whiteside as well. Amethyst Dwight and Amethyst Gobert could be nice, too.

Ruby Lockdown Gasol looks to be right up my alley. In the freelance, all I really need is a 5 who can knock down the middies, and given that he's got all the key defensive badges with him already, he's a good choice... heck, he'll probably take Cousins' place as the normal backup 5.

Yeah, this pretty much sums it up. Since it's a budget squad, I'd focus searches on Ruby Moments Gasol, since that one is gold-badged by default.

I've been playing, PvCPU, a lot of Yi + Yao at 4 and 5. Really nice duo in various ways.

Updated squad with KAJ. Sold my diamond KAT for 150 this morning and was able to pick Kemp backup for 94k just now. Patiently waiting for him and GP duo. Next moves are selling DRose and Bron to get my MT backup for Diamond Kobe. I might try that Diamond Francis out again if he hits 70k.

Got Father Prime himself, but pull rates seem to be ridiculously high. He might for 110k in a few days.
