this is the roster I roll with currently.
things running good in MTO at the moment...working towards PD League & my first prestige

I mix up Flow Motion / 5 out / Pace Motion along with Wizard Plays. I love High Hawk Fist Out for the PFs

Hopefully going to add Duncan in the next month or so if I don't rage and destroy my 2k17 disc. Currently stuck on diamond prestige 2.

Also, It's painful running Dantley and Mourning knowing that they have duo boosts that can't be used due to how bad their duo players are.

Edit: Ok, what are you guys using to upload your 2kMT central lineups? I'm trying to upload it through my facebook and copying the url from there, but all I get is a broken page when I see it on here.

Why Kiki at 2? Unless it's necessary to fit your freelance and playbook, I think he's better at 3 in pretty much all ways.

Also, with Nash, I'd consder running Majerle at 2 or 3 along with either Hill or King, for defensive reasons.

I run Kiki at 2 because most of my opponents seem to have a catch and shoot 2, and they use their 3 to slash. Hill is faster and more able to stop those.

Nash's defense is okay. His shot was impossible for me, so I sold him and bought Stockton. I'm much happier with Stockton. I started running Ruby Lillard at backup PG the last couple games, and I'm enjoying him a lot more.

He's a great all-around Center who can do pretty much everything. Defensive anchor badge, HOF Rim protector, and great speed for a Center.

I did have to sacrifice his duo with Tim Hardaway because I can't play with a 6'0 PG when there's Magic's & Harden's & Oscar's running rampant all over the place in MTO.

I did find Ruby Shaq to be twice as dominant, but Mourning's speed is what keeps him on the squad. User help D with the Center is huge, and Shaq was too slow to guard a 10 ft. radius at times and also was terrible vs inbounds turbo cheese.

I keep waffling on Alonzo vs. Gilmore. I've even got half of both collections. I had Zo in 2k15 and didn't like him. Gilmore was my starting C in 2k16, and again in 2k17 until I got Hakeem. Zo seems amazing though.

This is my line-up

I have invested in my starting 5 and I am holding on MT that I have to wait for feature releases.

I always use same line-up "builts"

PG: Athletic PG's that can drive after the pick but are able to shoot as well
SG/SF : A slasher (Kobe/Giannis/T-Mac) with a shooter (Pierce/Durant/Quentin)
PF: A stretch PF.
C: Athletic Centers

I amvery happy with my starting line-up that provides everything I need in offense plus significant good D.

In the bench Offensively I amgood, but I lack on Defense.

i finally did it

my gosh the grind was like nothing ive ever experienced in a video game, i swear the amount of people that just run 5 out high pick n roll, pick n pop is crazy, seems like every game someone has a new gimmick the worst guys are the ones with crappy teams they always do the most BS, a big thing ive encountered is backdoor cuts people will run to the corner and just hold tringle and the guy will beat him to the basket for an easy dunk. i honestly dont think there is a way to play strictly on ball defense you have to switch off sometimes to prevent this crap

my lineup

i might get rid of cousins ive only had him a day and a half but he hasnt lived up hes just to slow, i hate kiki but he keeps the defense honest so i start him, i picked up magic strictly for the pink diamond league, i came across a guy who ran 5 out and just backed my guy in to the paint with magic and it worked every time so i had to figure out how to stop it so i had to pick him up encase i encountered it again (which i did multiple times)

Man it's getting worse and worse. It's stoppable but I prefer in ball and if they really know hot to cheese and run manual y cuts it's infuriating. Settings help a lot but still just wish it wasn't an option or the centers would actually gap to newr the paint when set to it. I love the freelance offenses but if this is the cost I'd go back to not being able to select one no problem.


Honestly makes me sick to play these games half the time. Good part is for the first prestige I already have Steve Francis and have no more interest in any more of the amethyst rewards.

i just got duncan and was trying to play a game with him to see how he plays and i come across some guy who played off ball d with wilt, had extend pressure on (lol) and ran 5 out pick n roll every play i just didnt even try after the 1st quarter when i saw what he was doing it was a joke ive essentially beaten myteam and i just want to have fun and people like this try to ruin it /endrant

but the only way ive been able to beat it is playing off ball (if u want to call it that since im essentially playing the ball but not with the pg/sg just my c/pf) so i just play off the center like alot even if he can hit a 3 b/c when people run this play they usually dont want contested 3's they want easy layups/dunks so even if the 3 is there for a split second they wont take it, and i set help defense to off, but i would consider myself really good at keeping people in front of me so it might not work for you if you depend on help from your bigs

Playing games for fun helps with me too but playing against off ball 5 out pick and roll users the full game gets old. I like to play on ball. Just what I have always been about. I still do this year because the rewards are not nearly as good as say 2k14. Just frustrating.

You hate Kiki? Call Spurs Quick 2 Swing for him. Straight cash. I user him on D a lot of the time just to have that reliable money 3 pointer.
