i just did the lockdown collection friday and it cost 650k mt thats with looking for the lowest price for 3 days most expensive are the diamonds, kg and hakeem they will cost around 400k by themselves

That alone why I wouldn't try to finish collection, I don't make Mt to where I would say I'll make back what I already have now.

Running a budget squad on my second prestige and enjoying this squad more than my real squad. This Marc Gasol and GP are so good and very surprised I don't see them on every team I play. Ruby Russell is my leading scorer overall. I rented Lavine for my emerald league run and probably going to sell him after I rank up to sapphire because I feel like he's not worth 10+ MT.

can that gp shoot??? cuz im thinking about adding him to my team because he is cheap and i could use the perimeter defending besides ranking up to get amy magic.

I'm loving my lineup so far. I feel like I have answers to everything.

LJ and Kiki play my stretch 4 at times. I can size up with DRob and Mutombo without losing any speed. Magic of course is indispensable and the most consistent source of scoring/playmaking. My 11-13th bench players have seen fairly consistent use as well.

Stockton is my PG for my smallball shooting lineup playing with West and Kiki. Marc Gasol is a solid stretch 5 against offball and zone. And Wallace is the best wing defender in the game for stopping critical possessions.

There aren't many upgrades worth pursuing expect for PD Isiah to replace Stockton.

I'll be patiently waiting for the release of superior wings and maybe another diamond C with post game and HoF Rim Protector.

I changed things up quite a bit. Sold Stockton for MT to put toward the Lockdown set. I wanted a shot blocking center for the weekly challenge, so I bought Muresan expecting to sell him back. I hate that I have him, but he's a monster and I love on-balling with him. I went through Ruby Thomas (both of them), Conley, Paul, Westbrook, Lillard, Wall and Payton trying to find a PG I liked, and then I saw everyone talking about how good Lever was and fell in love with him. Then I finally finished Domination and picked Francis, and he's a monster.

I put Kiki on the bench because I stopped calling plays so I could work on slashing and my post game. I love the weekly challenges because they make me use players I don't normally use and try different styles of play than what I'm used to.

I was experimenting trying to find a backup shot creator SG to spell Harden, tried a bunch of guys like Ruby Klay, Allan Houston, etc. but settled on Ruby Larry Hughes. Great mixture of ball handling, 3 point shooting and near max steal ratings for easy cheesy turnovers.

Plus I like using players no one else does, has been great so far.

I went back and forth between payton and curry but i finally settled with payton because his on ball defense is amazing. this lineup has treated me well in mto and i love it.. will be upgrading oakley with ruby rodman shortly but to be honest i like that oakley can hit jumpers. either way this lineup is only getting better. im going to either get ruby curry or amy magic johnson to replace kevin johnson... what do ya'll think?

i really wouldn't mind a better center though.. like an all world center. is ralph sampson better than hakeem? or ruby cousins?

That hakeem you got is a beast of a card man.

With the exception of Shaq and Sabonis I've played with most centres available and that ruby hakeem still gives me good memories and he definitely plays above his stats and competes very well.

Magic is a super flexible player to have. I've had the ammy magic and got the USA magic currently, and a must have IMO. Throw some speed shoes on him and master a couple of his spin/dribble moves. Ive also had the ruby curry and just couldn't get it going with him. He was exposed defensively and for every 3 ball he hit, he gave away 2 drives on the other end.

On ruby rodman, yeah he is a nice defensive card, but a liability on the offence. Runs the floor well and gets space, but you'll understand what I mean when you run freelance and kick out to who you thought was the shooter wing, and rodman catches the ball.... Still i love d, and only recently i was trying my best to get the amym rodman in my squad but it didn't work.

I still think that good team chemistry can make a big difference in games. Good to hear that payton made your squad, he's crafty and I like using him in weekly challenges.

I've been keeping Wallace on my bench always, sometimes running him at Center, sometimes at PF, and sometimes just throw him in at even a guard position so that I can clamp down on someone specific and not have to muck with assignments.

Obviously, Russell cannot match Wallace's versatility, specifically the outrageous Lateral Quickness. I usually run Wallace with a cheap +6 Speed/Accel shoe so that he 94 Speed, 88 Acceleration, and 94 Lat Quickness. He's nice to sic on Amethyst Harden, because he can hang with Harden very easily, due to his Lat Quickness and length, and can totally stall out drives with bumping, due to his 95 Strength. Other guys who can keep up with Harden seem to be much more prone to giving up a foul if they allow Harden to go into a layup animation.

Stat-wise, Russell and Wallace are about a wash on post defense. Wallace has higher Strength and Vertical, but Russell is +1" and has HoF Rim Protector.

Offensively, Russell of course has much better Post Control and a very good Post Hook (which is more of a Kareem sky hook or maybe precisely that). Also has a much more viable Driving Layup. Similar Driving Dunk, but much lower Contact Dunk. But is merely a poor free throw shooter, rather than a horrific one.

Often not mentioned is that Russell is the best passing "big" in the game. Unfortunate that he has just as low Ball Control and is even worse in dribbling speed.

And then there's badging, touched on earlier. Amount is similar, in normal badges. But unlike Wallace, Russell has Clutch Performer and also Championship DNA.

In the end, they both have their pluses and minuses, as does the somewhat similar Willis Reed. All three are very compelling, depending on how one intends to use them.

i almost don't even want ruby curry because it's too hard to mimic what he does in real life, plus i have sapphitre curry all maxed out with shoes and he about the same.

yes what you said about rodman is exactly what im worried about lol, which is why when i put my defense/rebound lineup in i like having oakley.

chemistry really truly does matter and i play slow as hell grind out mode so this team is money for me. i love that grant hill card..
