Chauncey looks amazing. In previous years he has been plagued by cold spots, but this year he is pure red. Also, did anyone else notice his 84 strength??? He looks like a straight bully. Also he is badged up with both floor general and anchor on top of 20 gold badges.
D Rose has purple tear dropper badge. First time I am seeing that this year. I wonder how deadly that is. I always love the floater game in 2k. Rose looks really really solid. Why do I have to be so deep at the PG spot already?
Like Earv said, it is a shame that Penny and Tmac didn't get the purple badge treatment that we are seeing in all the other theme diamonds.
Also, I am not a huge Kidd fan, but this card looks very solid. Only real thing he is missing is a purple dimer badge. His stats and badging are very proper though.
Clyde looks great but I don't think I will go for him because 1) his release looks a lot like Dominiques and I hate hate hate Dominiques shot (shooting 18% from 3 with him despite 87 rating) and 2) I want MJ.
I think our next theme is guaranteed to be Laettner or Malone reward. Only spot we are missing from USA is a PF.Comment

IMHO release of Wilkins is much more easier then from Clyde. Clyde is so quick, hard to green

Chauncey and Kidd are the two cards that look the best to me in this set. But I've heard that they both had bad releases. That's really too bad if true. Or maybe it will just drive the price down and I can get them a little cheaper.
And I think if they're giving us a PF in two weeks it's got to be Malone. I expect All Star theme packs and he's a All Star MVP.Comment

I was gunning for Rose but I'll take the JKidd. Played two games with Kidd and was surprised how sick he was. I had 16 assists with him in like 10 mins. Shot wasn't too hard to get a hang of either.
I'll probably complete the set when Rose and and Wilt drop. All those duplicate Rubies and Amy's just going towards my Jordan piggy bank.Comment

Bought and sold Sapphire Webber without ever using him in a game because he wasn't good enough to make my team, but I really wanted one. Saw someone here say his Ruby was going for under 5k, so I went shopping. When I sold the Sapphire a couple weeks ago, I got 9500 for him, and got the Ruby for 4300. Couldn't be happier with that turn of events.
I want that Jalen, but I want it for around 15k.Comment

The only thing which bothers me is that Rose can not wear any shoe except Adidas, which are definitely the worst ones.
With a boosted 3PT this would be easily the best offensive guard out there.
Now I'm thinking of listing him and save the MT for AllStar packs (hence I also have Magic, West, Parker, Penny)
Probably I make some testruns in MTO first then I'll see. Think the card will sell for the lowest price today because of so many people opening packs...in case I wanna sell I probably should wait ~24h anyway (remember when penny went for 200k first night and after a day and some hype youtubers he went up to 300k - that might be the case here too)Baron Peja Melo Issel Mutombo

This Fat Lever is really good. I gave him a speed shoe and now he has 99 speed lol. I don't have to sacrifice shooting anymore in my 4th quarter lineup too. I got him for 18k and I probably overpaid for him but I don't mind, he's going to stay in my lineup for a long time until a diamond GP is released.Comment

Man, if things continue as they have been on PC this year, I'm quitting the game unless I decide to go console. Fat Lever, on PC, will go for well over 200K, and that's if you win an auction. For BIN, I think lowest price right now is between 350 and 400K.
Even though I've made a ton of MT on the AH...it takes a ton of MT to buy anything rare/"valuable." If I were as diligent in working the AH on console as I am on PC, I probably would be able to buy much, much more with the MT I could earn.Comment

On one hand, I feel like PS4 makes most sense because the point of going console would be to get MTO games on demand, and it sounds like even XBox gamers sometimes cannot get games or at least need to wait longer than PS4 players.
On the other hand, the idea of playing on a console, in general, bugs me because I'd have to pay for the appropriate online membership. 2K is the only game I play. The money isn't a big deal, but it just bugs me in principle.
And, in that respect, XBox has an advantage because:
1. I have accumulated so many Bing Search points that I could get 2 years of free XBox Live Gold membership.
2. As a Windows PC user, there are some synergistic aspects to using XBox instead of PS4, in terms of integration with my Microsoft account.Comment
