You must not know 2K if you think Tmac will be the best wingmen released this year. They released a 98 overall MVP Jordan last year when 99 Jordan as collection goal. They also released a 99 Kareem after people grinded their *** off during the weekly challenges to get a 97 Kareem. They definitely plan to release a Diamond Kobe by PO time when most of the collectors are near or have gotten PD Kobe. It would have been a mistake if they released an OP Diamond Kobe earlier in the year, then collectors would have stopped collecting.

I also expect other wingmen, like Diamond Melo, Pierce, AI, Wade, Jordan (after USA Jordan is released) PO harden, Derozan, Butler, Klay to drop and temporarily drive down price for this Tmac.

TMac just sold for 160k on PS4 right now. Not sure if this is the new price or just a low.

Dude, you are confusing him with the Rockets TMac, be careful there.
I saw some kids who bid huge MT on the rockets version by accident, lol.

Deep shooters Tmacs price has increased recently and is well over 450 again.

Yes Tmac will lose value as more cards drop but he is still going to hold some. He is the prime version of a very popular player. IMO the best version of any fan favourite will hold lots of value.

Tmac, Vince, KG, Iverson, Shaq, Melo, Kobe, Lebron (I named mostly recent players, but the same goes for all historics).. honestly any great player ever they release a ruby then an amy then a diamond, etc.. The prime card with the best stats will hold its value while the lower tiers depreciate.

At the end of the day people want to play the game using their favourite players, not randoms who have the highest attributes. And people want the prime version of their favourite player.

I remember last year I bought Nuggets Iverson for 550k at Christmas. By April there was a MVP 76ers version in the AH for 50k. I felt stupid. 2k does this to milk our money while coming out with nerfed versions and slowly upgrading. It is what it is. But when the best version is out you better believe people will want it.
