This "Supermax" mode must be a joke 2k. Everyone plays 5 ****ing out, LBJ at Point, drive, kick to Lafrentz. The Equalizer is worse than ever. And on top a cheap money grab with these "Caps".

Harryl giving you honest strats and here is my list of cheesy moves.

1. Set free throw difficulty to 0 at the main menu, now you can make every single free throw from everyone.

This works for MyTeam? Didn't expect it to carry over, great tip.

I haven't faced a bunch of timeouts though I haven't played in the pink diamond league. But I did just grind up to PD and only faced one 5 out user.

The cheese that's bugging me is people putting a point guard at the 5 spot. I don't really know why guys think this works but the fouls limit might make it less viable. People are getting a lot of steals with this method though.

Really lame and cheap attempt to have their PG guarded by a slow big who cannot at all contain him in ISO.

Or are you finding that they're guarding your big with their PG and actually playing their PG at Center?

This is the worst MyTeam ever. Constant 5 out, not being able to play on Friday to Sunday, easy difficulty level, stupid execution on caps.
People needing to complete a goal in 4 weekly games.

The mode is dead. It is easy to understand by the people in this forum.

It is sad. I used to play every day. Now I see it in my game list and I skip right over it to go to other sports games. In fact I've debated about deleting it more than thinking about playing.

When Chris smoove finally makes a video on all the things that's wrong with 2k n specifically mentions in the video that he can't even recommend the game to ppl who haven't bought yet, that's when you know it's really bad.

Beside all flaws this mode has, the worst one is the conception of Salary Max.

No main online mode from friday night over the whole weekend?

I have to agree with everyone here. I've been playing My Team consistently since 2K13 and this is the first year where i haven't really touched the game.

The bad gameplay and lack of supermax on weekends really kills it for me. Haven't played this game in over a week. It's sad that it's come to this so early after release.

I played a guy who ran Penny and Giannis at point and had Bradley at center. He also constantly switched up players positions during timeout to try and create BS mismatches.

The limited amount of time we get to pause plus not seeing what the other guy is putting on the floor during timeouts means that you can never really 'catch up' to this kind of nonsense. In real life, if a team switched their PG and C, this would not create a mismatch. The opposing team would just keep their man coverages. It's utterly stupid that 2K hasn't figured this out by now.

Wasn't quite as OP as last year because they've nerfed the giants a bit on defense, but was still unpleasant.

I am not sure why they don't implement some sort of feature where each position 'up' or 'down' you go from your regular position, you receive increasingly punishing penalties, so Giannis would be 2 spots away from SF at PG.

Also, they really need to make 'height' a rating, just like everything else, and weight it heavily in determining the tier of a card. Obviously, two players with identical attribute totals but 6" of height difference should be completely different tiers.

The no playing on weekends makes little sense as well, I sympathize with those who can't play at night.

I still like the idea of capped play though.

I'm not even able to replace players in my lineup with players from my collection. It only lets me move guys around within my 13 man lineup.

With all the issues that are going on with the game, this is what they change? Umm ok... I struggled with this too until I hit Square by accident.

Seriously 2k communicate and put more than 5 minutes of effort into your game modes! This is just another example of inept execution by the Devs. Nothing surprises me anymore. Thank God for other sports games that aren't perfect but are now light years ahead of NBA 2k.

I wouldn't say it's the worst Mt ever.. Some good stuff like the super max salary cap and different costs for cards based on popularity.. It's intriguing and I like it. Also some of the free reward cards you get this year makes it possible to build a phenomenal team via strict gameplay. Awesome. Some real good stuff with the mode.

With that said, the foul kick mechanic should have only been implemented into pack and playoffs. In online games we have bonus and foul out for a reason. The fact that you can get kicked right now from a game due to a foul.. Game is unplayable. I'm done with the mode until later in the cycle.
