Looking for a squad to play with. I'm not a superstar player just like to play my role which is space the floor, hit open shots and keep the ball moving. I got elite 3 experience but they usually get on much later than me. I play from 10pm est to 1am.

Im a pretty versatile player. I set alot of offball screens, post up on mismatches sometimes, box out, hustle back on defense and the break. Can hit the three/midrange if open in the corner. I play alot like Kenneth Faried/Andrei Kirilenko.

Im looking for a team that plays realistic and smart. Im looking for a team that runs a few plays, not a team that set's screens at the top of the 3 and wants me to sit in the corner all game.

We're an elite team with 4 guys who play regularly (every night lol) and we're looking for a 5th. We play team bball and everyone shares the ball.
3 of us are in mid to late 30s, married with kids, etc. We enjoy playing good D and dunking on the youngsters haha.

The lineup we go with mostly is a stretch big C and a 6'10 slasher SF, and then 2 of us have 6 or 7 95 rated guys we rotate using.

It doesn't really matter the position you play we can make anything work if you're a mature player who plays solid defense and shares the ball.

We also have a solid group of guys that play pretty much every day.

We play walk on (team) pro am for rep and to get the extra upgrades because it doesn't seem like there's any real reason to play team pro am.

If anyone is interested in running with us send me a message on xbl: Tony Two Steps.

Must be a mature team player or you wont be playing.

6'11 PF post scorer down for either Walk on or team pro am. I chose 6'11 so i can still move around the court good enough if i have to defend a guard and tall enough match up with a big glass cleaner if I need to run the 5. Of course I maxed my 3 ball just in case i need to step out and hit corner 3. Oh yeah I pass too lol. My gamertag is CPT VIBE, hit me up if you want to run something.

My pro am squad is looking for a fifth. We are looking for a shooting guard that is a sharpshooter. We are 35-2. We have four great team players right now just looking for one more who is a great team player. Who can knock down a open jumper and who looks to make the extra pass. We play every night at 730 est. If you think you'd be a good fit you can respond on here or hit me up via xbox. Gamertag is ModernHippy07.

                          Geographic Location

                          Eastern or Midwestern United States

                          Playing Schedule

Nightly, starting around 7 PM to 8 PM Eastern Time

                          Playing Style

We will play man-to-man defense, primarily. Do not message me if you cannot play man defense without surrendering 20+ points to your matchup on a regular basis. You must also understand screen defense concepts like hedging and icing.

Our offensive philosophy will be as follows:

Get the ball up the court as quickly as possible to put pressure on the defense and try to find a quick shot before they can get set up. If no one is immediately open, we will wait for our big man to come down the court, then dump the ball into the post, with our shooters ready to catch-and-shoot and our non-shooters ready to cut into open space if a double team comes.

If anyone on our team ends up having the hall of fame brick wall badge, then we will also install some set plays to take advantage of that badge.

Against a 2-3 zone, which is what the majority of the top pro am teams use, we will rely on spacing, passing, and timely cutting to score. This approach requires a level of discipline, anticipation, and patience that not many of the people I've played with this year have possessed, and the absence of those qualities is one of the main reasons why I left my previous team.

                          Lineup

I will be playing point guard, either with my lockdown defender or my shot creator, depending on what other archetypes we end up with. The stats you see in the screenshot above are from my lockdown defender. Everyone on the team must be able to shoot consistently while receiving passes from nothing better than bronze dimer, as opposed to the hall of fame dimer badge that most playmakers possess. I will primarily operate in the corner on offense. On defense, I will either guard the team's primary ball handler or their leading perimeter scorer.

I need to fill the following positions:

2 hall of fame limitless range shooters who are not taller than 6'10". On offense, you will mostly be playing on the wings and at the top of the key. You will not have many opportunities to crash the boards or cut into the paint, because you will be relied upon to get back and defend fastbreaks, which is why I do not want any shooters taller than 6'10". Your defensive assignment in the half-court will generally be guarding one of the other team's role players.

1 big man who can score consistently in 1-on-1 situations, has the alley oop dunk packages equipped (you cannot get them if you are 7'3"; you must be 7'2" or shorter), and can defend + rebound against 7'3" centers, which is what you'll be facing the majority of the time at the higher levels of pro am team arena. I did not list an archetype or height preference, because I've seen people be effective in this role with many different big man builds. If you can guard the pick and roll with me (I'll be guarding the ball handler), that is a plus, though it's not essential if our power forward is capable of taking on that task for you.

1 more player whose height is between 6'4" and 6'10". Your role on offense and defense will mostly depend on your archetype, but regardless of that, you will be relied on to get back and defend fastbreaks, which is why I have listed a height preference that weeds out slower player builds.

                          Requirements

Your player must be at least a 95 overall, have his grand badge, plus all 5 of his archetype's hall of fame badges, and have at least 20 bronze badges, with dimer and defensive stopper being mandatory.

                          How to Contact

If this looks like a team that you'd want to be a part of, send an Xbox Live message to the gamertag jyoung OS that includes your player's position, height, archetype, badges, and overall rating.

                          DO message me if:
                          • The only statistics you care about are wins and losses
                          • You do not hesitate to pass up your own good shot for a teammate's great shot
                          • You are a good learner who can take instruction
                          • You are a level-headed person who can accept criticism
                          • You play positional defense without reaching for steals or jumping for blocks

                          DO NOT message me if:
                          • You tend to jump around from team to team and aren't looking to stay with one team for the remainder of NBA 2K17
                          • Your playing style resembles a decapitated chicken turboing around the court with no vision or sense of spacing
                          • You are too impatient to stand still and wait for a play to develop on offense
                          • You like to leave your defensive assignment to double team the ball or gamble for steals/blocks
                          • Your internet connection is slow or prone to frequent disconnections
                          • You like to play while drunk/stoned
                          • You make racist, sexist, homophobic, or bigoted comments in party chat
                          • You curse constantly during games
                          • You frequently complain and make excuses during games
                          • You have a large ego that must regularly be stoked
                          • You are a combative person with a tendency to create drama among your teammates and/or your opponents
                          • You tend to have lots of noise and activity going on in the background while you play

Some of those descriptions may seem laughable, but I'm mentioning them specifically because I've played with people in 2K16 and 2K17 who have exhibited those shortcomings.

We will start playing with a fresh 0-0 record as soon as I can find 4 good candidates.

Building new ProAm team. Looking to build a consistent team who plays team beam (similar to the Spurs). Looking for a PG who can run an offense that isn't freelance. Looking for teammates that can play multiple defenses & that won't be hurting in man to man defense department. Looking to run a few games a few nights a week/weekends and practicing in walk on games. Looking for all positions besides PF (I'm a 94 LDD PF). 85+ overall, must be high IQ and not simply iso players. So if you're looking I'm interested GT: Asurathe21GREAT

Me and a friend have been looking for players since this game released.
A few people have responded and either didn't fit, didn't play consistently, or were too immature.

He has a Sharp Shooting SF (96), a Stretch Big (91), and a Sharp Shooting PG (96). He likes to shoot the 3 and is good at it. High basketball IQ and shot selection, defense, extra pass, team oriented, and mature.

I have a Play Making SF (96), an Athletic Finishing PF (96), a Paint Protecting PF (91), and a Stretch Big (87 no badges). All around game with all players. Scoring, defending, rebounding, and passing. High basketball IQ, team oriented, and mature.

Were looking to join, add, or just run with similar style players.

Really wanting to get a team together to prepare for 2k18.

Stats aren't as important as team play. A triple double outside of team basketball and a loss doesn't impress. Zero points, but great team basketball in a win is far more impressive.

If you want to join us, add us to your group, or just run some walk on with us. Add me and mention OS.
