I'm a pass first point guard who's willing to work hard, to make myself and my teammates better. I have a strong basketball background and understand what it means to be a student of the game. I have designed plays and watch film of previous games, to work on improving my game and provide constructive feedback to teammates.

My ideal team is one that is willing to take the time to practice and run plays in the half court; open to criticism, while understanding the overall goal is to make each other better.

I'm looking for a team or like minded players who share my passion. I'm also not opposed to taking on the responsibility of running a team myself if I find there are enough of you who share these goals, but find it difficult to find a team that fits this mold.

looking for a athletic pf who can play defense and grab boards.

We just started playing pro-am, record is 5-5
We play for fun, not too seriously, no hard feelings for any losses and stuff
Just like to play basketball

Currently we are three people,

1) my buddy sharpshooter sf, 90+, 6'9
2) his brother stretch big C, 87, 7'3
3) myself point forward sf, 95, 6'9

my buddies are new to basketball and learning the game everyday, in 2k and in real life. Their basketball iq is average, but are willing to expand their knowledge and learn this beautiful game.

I have been playing ball for the last 18/19 years and 2k since 2k7.
I am the primary playmaker for our team, and we play a freelance style as of now. We pass the ball around, and look for good shots rather than forcing it on offense and defense.
On defense, we like to stay away from steals/blocks unless its a quality look, and just stick to contesting and altering shots and rotating to play good defense.

We need a PF to play good inside D, grab boards, play strong inside game (post up or faceup and drive), finish alley oops, kick out the ball if you dont have a good shot or are constantly being doubled.

We have shooters in the SF and C, who spread the floor
I only take open 3s, midrange shots, drive, but mostly love to create and rack up assists. I play the SG spot as we have 2 SF's on our team.

A few rules for our team:
1) be a TEAM PLAYER on offense and dfense. Move the ball around. Move yourself, create for others.
2) everyone makes mistakes, its a good idea to give constructive criticsm and not be demeaning to other players.
3) again, teams lose, thats ok, basketball goes on, all is good as long as everyone is having fun. record doesnt really matter for us as much as having fun does.
4) All three of us are hardcore gamers (14-15 hours on most days), some of us go to college too and can be busy at times when assignmnts are due or if we have an exam. We mostly play 7pm PST onwards.

Might as well put my info down here...

6'3" Sharpshooter SG, 77 overall currently. Try to play team ball, spread the floor and take my shots when I get them. If you're looking for a cheesy Sharpshooter-build-abuser, I'm not your guy. I'm a get-back defender who loves to stop the break. Though my guy isn't a stellar defender, I can make up for his deficiencies on the defensive end a little bit. I'm on most weekends and some nights. Depends on my work schedule, though.

I enjoy using a wide variety of strategies on both sides of the floor and continuously adjust my pace and focus throughout a game. Qualities I’m looking for at all positions include smart off-ball actions, proper defense (not spamming square then sprinting behind your man when they burn you), and a willingness to learn from one another. Here’s a brief description of what I think will be ideal teammates...

[SG] Required archetype & Height: 6’5 – 6’7 Sharpshooter Purpose - You have the simplest role on the team and 2k provides more than enough tools to fulfill it. The absence of a stretch big/ ShrpShtr SF means you are the best 3pt shooter we have and you need to shoot. Feel free to take whatever shots you know you can make and take note of the opportunities you create for others.

[SF] 6’7 – 6’9 Point Forward - You are comfortable taking command if I am not present or we need to throw our opponents off balance. [PF] 6’10 / 6’11 Athletic Finisher - You are a deceptively versatile scorer with a slight tendency to embarrass dudes under the rim. Your reliable free throw is required to take advantage of the fouls the defense will be forced to commit.

I have a team 5-6 people big and have been looking for a player or two to get to play full squad more often.


Current team look like this:

PG playmaker
SG sharpshooter
SF Point Forward
PF Sharpshooter / SF Shot Creator other save
C Athletic / SF Sharpie other save
Also there might be a few friends filling in Swingman roles here and there.

There's no set schedule but we play games somewhere in between 5 - 9 PM EST / 2-6 PM PST / after 9 GMT / after 10 British time / 11 CET / etc.

Mic isnt really required, PSN chat is just fine. Team is everyone 20-30 years old so there's no drama or rage quits. Team ball. Everyone's involved.

Now that pro am kinda works post latest patch we started playing more often again.

Team record is about 55-30 and we have maybe 7 players of all kinds so I dont have any preference about position / style.

OS's own Jesus Swagglesworth is running the point along with cracking top 10 on Play Now leaderboards so you're in good hands.

Looking for players to add to the squad. All players on the squad has been playing Pro-AM together since 2K16. We lost our point guard due to us expecting him to play defense. (crazy right) The team was disbanded and now the remaning players are picking up the pieces. We are a good group of guys that are looking for mature players. Please be out of high school. We play daily anywhere from 4:30pm MST till 10pm MST.

What we players we are looking for:

PG: Playmaker, LOCKDOWN, Sharpshooter or shot creator.
SG: LOCKDOWN
SF:LOCKDOWN or POINT FOWARD
PF: Athletic Finisher or Stretch
C: Glass Cleaner.

Don't really care about the 45 badges you have. Just want mature players that move the ball and are capable of holding their own on defense and understand the game.
