This is the best I've found for Curry so far.

Curry:

Timing: Quick
Release: Curry
Base: Jump Shot 1

There is no other release that quite captures how he holds his gooseneck release as well as his own, or at least I haven't found it. It's not perfect, has a hitch, and doesn't hyperextend at the elbow like he does in real life but the other releases seem like too much of a departure.

Jumpshot 1 also captures how he jumps with body upright with a bit of turn and sway, and doesn't exaggerate any movement that Curry doesn't already have. It's much improved over the default Curry base because it doesn't have that leaning body fade which also causes the shoulders to look hunched.

That's not a bad shot at all but you can't go off that type of vid. I think its best to go off in game situations to get the best results for players shots (Just my opinion). I had Curry with Iggy JS 63 at first then changed it to Gallo JS 63. I think with Kobe his hands are to far apart and 72 is good but to up in the air instead of going forward...

I've watched Curry plenty and that's how he shoots in an ideal situation.
Aiming for that is a perfectly legitimate goal since that's how Curry is going to shoot when set and open.

Of course Curry varies up his shot depending on the situation, balance, and coverage, so going off game film would require good judgement in knowing which ones are good references and representative of a normal shot, and which ones are more extreme and would look odd if he shot it that way all the time.

Curry shoots it so many ways-- sometimes with a lot of turn, sometimes leaning forward when dribbling and launching to get range, sometimes stutter stepping to launch upright -- that the only way to really capture him is for 2K to do a Curry jumper package. Maybe it'll happen if he becomes the cover athlete for 2K16.

The one constant is his upper body lightning quick hitchless release. Unfortunately no animation in game fully captures that (and the official roster doesn't have his animation set to Quick though it's been brought up to Beds.)
