Re: ****NBA 2K15 Signature Style Thread*****
For me
Stephen curry
timing : quick
form : curry
Base : jumpshot 18
It was his old base from previous games but his form was wrong at this time.
new curry form + old base works for me.
maybe if it Has quicker release but pretty accurate for his set shot where no one is around him.
I tried that one a few weeks ago. It's just way too slow for my liking.. Even for catch and shoot. To utilize Curry fully, I like a quick release off the dribble or at any given moment. Set shot 6 for his base does this. If you look at my video, it's just one of the many landing variations he has. He tends to land super narrow when left open, and wider the more defended he is, like real life.
Have you tried set shot 6 with quick timing and his default shot? Real player % too
He turns his feet, turns while he shoots, and it actually looks like he flicks the ball with his wrist. Unfortunately I only uploaded that video showing one example, but this shot has him turn mid air while he shoots, and has different landings, not to mention he releases it in about .3 seconds.

Check out how he turns as he releases. And how the defense couldn't even react to his super quick release.Comment

Stephen curry
Timing: normal or quick ( i have normal)
Form: curry/release 27 works also
Base: p george or 36 thats how he shoots when he is wide open
I prefer p george because p george's base has two shots in it.. one time the regular p george and the other base is 26 i think
Try it's awesomeComment

Yeah, I believe the base where he turns is just a copy of the Base 26/K. Martin (same base different names) and for some odd reason he only does it sometimes.. like you said, he has two bases in one base.
The reason I don't use it (it was actually my first choice) is because when he turns, his arm turn with his body, which leaves his hands pointing in a weird direction. It annoyed me lol. So far, imo, set shot 6 is the closest it gets when it comes to visually and also the speed in which he releases it. It's lightning fast, as you can tell if you watched the video I posted, defenders don't have a chance once he gets a small window. The different landings is what's making me stick with it, especially since he starts with his feet turned and lands with them even more turned.
That's just from one instance. Similar camera angles and shots. His feet ingame, can land narrow or wide depending on the defense.
Both start turned, bend knees, quickly go into shooting motion, shoots from forehead, releases quickly with hands closely together, then quickly coils them back as he lands.
But hey, if you guys are content with your sig combos, that's cool. I'm just giving an alternative. I have league pass and have been watching this kid since he started making headlines at Davidson. I pretty much see his jump shot playing through my head like a highlight reel lol
Ps. Yes, his right foot is in front of his left. But it can depend on your footing sometimes after the dribble. But he always turns mid air and lands right foot ahead of the left

Stephen "Steve Nash 2.0" Curry
Timing: Quick
Form: Release 87
Base: JS 63
Fade: 5
Dribble PU: L. Stephenson (Credit RipCity)
Spin J: Stiff 4
Hop J: Normal 3 (Credit RipCity)
Size Up: 90
*Note: The most accurate combo for curry, ball position, and is close to forehead, accurate follow through, Ive tested it for a 1 hour in counting and satisfied
*Negative: Leaves shooting hand up, but it still looks good
