I believe I get what you're saying. There may not be a workaround that this year. Maybe that's the next step for 2k16...player specific plays. Until then you prolly just have to roll with it as is. The Czar staged that this year is the foundation and he'ok build upon that. I look forward to it."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up" -
Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
In the past weren't we able to assign specific plays to a player and not just play types? Maybe last gen? Or am I mistaken? That might be a way to eliminate the issue so that the A.I. wouldn't call the same play for Collison that they would with Ibaka in the game."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
Not even a play design/editing tool would be able to prevent this ... since we can already take out those playtypes of Collison.
Eitherway, here is to hope for them to add that and for being able to have a say on how frequent plays and playtypes are run.
I think it would be pretty complicated to have plays develope based on players tendencies, strength and weaknesses ... also on what the other team is doing and such ... but it doesnt hurt to have hopes.
There is never too many editing/customization/options ... we want more, way more ... and all user accesible, no hidden variables such as coaches grades, team chemestry, hotspots and hotzones, team roster building stances, etc !Last edited by ffaacc03; 03-16-2015, 05:02 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
This would completely change the game for the better! As it stands, although there are a TON of editable attributes, tendencies, etc...it is absolutely essential that we have the ability to determine how frequent particular plays or play types are called by the CPU so that we can make sure the 'stars' get their touches at a realistic clip.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
<hr style="color:#393939" size="1"> Hey guys. Posted this in Last Gen, but it seems like that side is pretty dead.
So I'm trying to delve deeper in this game. I've been checking out some tips/tutorial videos and threads. I want to start getting into calling actual plays. Right now I just freelance running a 4 out 1 in set, getting my best players for isos or PnRs. But I feel like actually running plays will help in crunch time when I need buckets.
However, in the videos I've watched online, they're all from PS4 and Xbone guys. It seems like the playbooks are different from Old Gen and New Gen. Specifically, I watched a video for the Cavs playbook and he called Angle Fist Iso and Euro 15 Angle. These plays worked really well. I went to go try them out, couldn't find them in the ingame plays. Went to the playbook editing portion, and they weren't there either.
Does anyone have any "money plays" I should look for in the Old Gen game; specifically double screen isos or plays that incorporate a lot of spacing for PNRs?Comment

I just run plays called automatically on offense so the offense is constantly flowing. Much better imoComment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
I'm guessing there will be no updates to the rough drafts on the main page? I assume so if he hasn't by now. Regardless this is the one thing I have no expertise on so I'll be using these plays for my roster. Hopefully he's back for 2K16. Let me know if anyone has something similar for after the All-Star break.PSN/YT: ZakMarcinComment
