There is definitely a glitch with plays being overwritten if you delete a play, however there may be a way around it.

My experience with this is that you can delete all of the plays but the last one. replace that play with a play you have no intention of using, i always just just use the first play on the iso list, so it is separate.

Then you can press Y/triangle and add plays by category entering from the bottom-up. The play you have no intention of using will be overwritten at some point, but it is irrelevant.

This can save a lot of time and ensure that you have the order that you want.

This is what I do and have never had a problem with it to this point, but i can't make guarantees, so make sure you're monitoring the numbers per play category on the right side of the screen to make sure nothing is getting lost.

the issue with this is say you want to add even one play to the playbook, you'll have to remove all but one, replace with random iso play and re-enter all, but it goes fairly quickly once you've done it a few times.

Ya that's exactly what I did and got the glitch. It was with blazers playbook and havnt tried it again. It would make things so much easier this way. I'll try it again.

By the way I can't wait for you guys to test out suns and rockets especially with their high PNR offense. James harden is a beast coming off handoffs and off ball screens going directly into ball screens. They also have the 3 dribble drive/weave action plays and are constantly attacking. Playing against these teams with their playbooks plays like no other team.

Then the grizzlies and raptors with their horns heavy playbooks were deadly as well. I think you guys will love the difference now between teams and how the CPU is attacking and automatically going into different options within the plays immediately.

I've been scouting and watching games all morning and am hoping to get 5 more done by tonight and half half the leagues playbooks entered. Then I will go to jattnanga and rips already scouted info and do those teams which should go pretty fast. I should have all teams rough drafts done by end of the week...

In the Roster Section for Each Team. Use the LT and RT buttons and you can scroll thru everything for the Specific Team. Rotations, Coaching Sliders, Point of Emphasis, Edit Playbooks and Assign Plays are All in the Roster Creator section. Hope this helps.

Assuming it's a YT video, click "Share" under the video, then "Embed", and copy and paste the code it shows right under "Embed". Any video site should have similar embedding options.

Quick Question: Under Coach's Profile, what should the Offense focus be for all the teams? Star players? Neutral? Pick and Roll?

Testing Results:

I played two 12 minute quarter games on Superstar Sim with default sliders as the Bulls.

Game 1 Golden State 108-88 Chicago
The tempo of the game was frenetic I was losing klay and iguodala in transition regularly. Steph led them with 28. There was constant motion and I had a difficult time employing Thib's defense because there was a constant scramble in the half court.

Game 2 Sacramento 78-92 Chicago
I was able to control pace the whole way as I iced their pnr's and rotated early enough to force skip passes and kept everyone but boogie cousins under rap pretty well (he finished with 24 and 17).

Opinions:

After the Golden State game I was concerned that the cpu had become too efficient and that the playbooks had overpowered the cpu. However, after playing the second game against the Kings, I realized that was not at all the case..as they were more distinctly a halfcourt team with plays that were more defined and readable. Sac's offense was much easier to defend as they didn't have the effervescent flow that the warriors seemed to have. It was perfect.

Overall, vann is really on to something here with how he's choosing which plays he puts in the playbooks because the cpu is calling multiple plays in the halfcourt per possession and some of those are called based on the best available play given the spacing and player alignment at that moment in time..and the plays he's choosing for each team are doing a very good reflecting the varying styles...ball movement vs. pnr vs. low post vs. pinch post vs. screens for shooters etc.

Ok guys heading to bed but wanted to give an update of where we are at. We got 15 teams done. Sorry I havnt had any time to enter them yet in op as I have been working on them religiously the last 3 days. I will try and get them all up tomorrow at some point. Were half way there.

It takes a good 3 hours to select playbooks and go through notes for each team and that's not counting the amount of times watching games, researching team info, watching you tube videos, etc. I feel like these playbooks are getting better as I go now that I got offensive packages set up for play types like horns, flex, pinch post, etc. That being said I already have some plays I want to get into the early teams I did once I'm done. I also need to reorder plays just in case CPU does select them more often from 1st play to the last in a play type. I also want to get more In Depth with the PNR game as far as locking down where these picks are coming from and what angle. If a team runs screen the screener action or has running picks coming to set the PNR I'm getting that in but if these are occurring from an angle or top of key or sideline I want to get more in depth as well as if picks are coming after a pass or 2 or immediately once crossing half court, etc.

Anyways, look out for the teams listed above tomorrow sometime. Also, special thanks to jattnanga for all his help and sending me scouting info and notes. The Knicks are all his work as his specialty is the triangle offense. He did a great job with their playbook! Thx again! Were half way home! I'm hoping to have all teams done by Friday at the latest time permitting...

Hornets and thunder done. I think I nailed hornets on 1st try. Im gonna try to knock out a team or 2 maybe 3 to get to 20 then input them all in here tonight. Can't stop won't stop!

Yes that would be huge help! I have not scouted them yet. I just got pacers and clippers done. I'm at 19 teams done.

By the way, until I get a chance to input these in op you can download my roster to mess around in quick games if you want. I got 19 teams done.

Side note: I've made small and very limited edits with a handful of players in this roster. Notable is Dwight Howard fadeaway tendency dropped way down as well as his fadeaway success rate, Danny green upped his 3point shot tendency (will now pull trigger if open from 3), and a few other small changes like that for realism. Nothing major. So it's pretty much out of box 2k roster after they made changes to fixing draft picks.

Anyways, hope that tides you xbox1 guys over til I get them posted in op later...
