Blazers need some more love as do many other teams. Looking at their playbook I only got 3 pnpop plays. I need to change that. I've made that playbook my playbook as I play with that team so it's user preference.

I'll mess with cpu at Lamarcus and see if he can get some pnp touches. I haven't noticed cup. Not passing to pick n pop player but I haven't been looking for it either.

In some case less is more and 50 plays can add a ton of variety when sometimes a team will run same play with similar action with a few wrinkles in it that is a whole different way to go. I'd be curious to see like 2-3 plays (teams go to plays) for each team assigned and see how that plays out. Obviously a million different ways you can go with these play books. I think a lot has to do with tendencies, touches, etc though.

I've only played against 3 teams so far with your playbook corrections. The Spurs were very very nice to play against. Really resembled how they play on offense. The Rockets were ok, they didn't really go down low to Dwight and there wasn't much Harden/Howard pick and roll action. And the Blazers were ok, but Aldridge didn't do much, but Lillard was agressive on those pick and roll plays. Whats interesting that I found with the Blazers and all the rest of the teams(that I haven't input the new playbooks yet) is that it seems like on offense the CPU just wants to pass the ball around and then with 7 seconds left the point guard will get the ball back and force a shot in the paint right before the shot clock expires? Not sure if it as a sliders issue or just a prime example of the playbooks needing to be corrected by putting in vannwolfhawks' edits. Anyway, once again Vannwolfhawk is doing great work with this. Like I questioned earlier, I am really curious to find out how the CPU A.I. decides what plays to run the most or how often. You would think it may come down to the coaching sliders, or the players with the highest touch tendencies and the players 1-4 priority list.

You can't put plays in twice unfortunately. So, the cavs already had that play in their playbook and because it's a really good one I kept it to make sure they ran it mor often. I wanted to take advantage of that being in there. The second, I can't change where plays go, the cup auto organizes them so that play must be where it's from?

No biggie, was just double checking on my end to make sure I got them in correct.

Check Into poe's as well of your not seeing something, remember I hadn't touched these but last night after I finished (with my CPU tendency slider adjustments) I played the macs and before the game I switched POE to play thru star. I think I put shoot at will too? But anyways CPU dirk was killing me and was posting me up all 1st half (only played a 12 min qtr half) and doing his dork step back. I also turned up run plays to 90 or 95 and saw them run probably 20 different plays. The thing was other guys still got theirs too even with play thru star. I'd really look into tweaking these to get a team to play more like themselves.

Van amazing work man, I've plugged the playbooks you have up so far for the PS4 users. I watched one game of Spurs vs Cavs and played another, these truly make this game shine even more on the game play side of things.

BTW you listed a cutter play for the Cavs twice I believe it's 12 give, and listed slice 34 fist under pick and roll options for the Blazers it's actually under pick & mid.

Hi cam, long time no see, hope you are OK ... eternally gratefull of your 2K10 contributions for the PS3 fellows.

If you will use your edited roster for my league purposes, on what 2k Official roster did you based it ? There is a servers issue that is causing to have a past roster and not an updated one and that could mean issues for your seasons.

Also, have you made any roster changes besides imputting Vanns plays ? (like ratings, tendencies, coaches philosophy, sig shots, etc)

Ok guys I got to run and do some training. I got all but 3 teams plays entered (been inputting for 5 hours). Teams not done are bulls, Knicks, and heat. I'll get those done as well as all teams play types in when I get home later tonight. Obviously you need play types as well especially in ISO, cutter, and high post areas as those plays are specific to certain guys having these play types and others not. I'll get them up ASAP...

I used one of the roster updates from this past week not sure of which one.

All I've done is add Vans plays and change run plays to 95-100.

Edit: Raps are on the share PS4 user's.

Van didn't put the names above the play styles yet and I'm not sure if he's online now, so if any Bucks fan can chime in and let me know who's, who in the play style option under their playbook & I'll get them up too.

Don't plug on those play types yet as they are just there as I copied and pasted from another team to make it easier when I input them. So again do not use them unless they have a name above them.

Awesome Job Buddy. I am implementing these in Trifecta Roster over the Next Few days. I have been using the Universal and mixing and matching, but now I am using the Specific Team Books.

IMO, this game will be truly great once stars play like stars, but not quite there yet.

Ya it needs player tendencies edited in a bad way. Guards will always get theirs because of high drive tendency and lower shooting tendencies for a lot of guys. I hate seeing guys with 8 feet of space at the 3 as I'm slow in recovering and they don't shoot the 3 even though they are more than capable and would pull that shot irl. Having CPU 3pt tendency slider maxed out helps this big time. Same with upping post feeds. I got at 60. I'm tempted to put all teams with superstar to POE at play thru star especially if he's a of or a post player.

I'm anxiously awaiting roster makers to finish projects combined with playbooks this game will be incredible with a good slider set. I'm definitely going to look into poe's more though to get teams playing to their strengths.

Remember I feel like my playbooks got better as I went along so I need to redo slightly to....

Cavs

Only because I found some good actions later in editing after retesting some plays. Plus just some better actions in general.

I am really going to look into pnpop and if CPU is passing to them. Maybe put pnp mid plays before PNR for team like blazers. I need to test CPU AI in calling plays more to see what and when or why they are running this play more than that 1. I hope to 1 say get CPU AI smart enough to run a play more often if they are being successful with it throughout a game. I also hope we can get a star game planning set up so we can decide which plays get called more often then others. Or just have it set like that with play 1-4 in order and problem solved but no one will answer these questions and just avoid them all together.

I just played a full game against the Balzers with their POE set to play through star. LMA went 6/12. A few mid ranges, couple of PNPs. It wasnt overpoweringly good, but it was better.

Blake got 14 attempts, Matthews 15. That is disappointing.

I'll work on blazers. I havnt tested anybody as far as in game so these playbooks will change which is why they are rough drafts. They need to be tested in game, then replace any bad plays I see if any, then replace with better action. The biggest problem is 1- playbooks need to be reordered I'm thinking badly. 2- player tendencies as far as touches, shot attempts, triple threat shots, 3pt shots, all shots really need to be upped and looked at for a lot of players. It's immediate difference if you go in and edit this and then go play another game. Your like wow ok I see it now. It just needs to be balanced and tested.

Another factor that we don't know in not watching your games is maybe you play bad perimeter defense in giving up so many shot attempts to guards and top that with maybe containing Aldridge with good defense and maybe his shot contest shooting is lie so he defers? So many factors that without seeing we have no idea.

Stream a game and I'll watch it but let me tweak a but 1st.

Ok guys I got all teams playbooks in and 15 teams play types done. My iPad and phone are both low on juice so I'll finish last 15 2mo. I'm gonna go play a little but and test some things. FINALLY! :-)
