I recommend 30 team control and the following league adjustments:
use custom roster (pretty obvious)
league customization ON
set first round to best of 5
turn injuries off
turn team chemistry off
turn trade override on

Sliders:
Whatever set you like.
Lately i was trying out barteko's Superstar Realistic Sliderset
and really liked it.

30. team: Pelicans

The Pelicans have a lot of 2k's random players (Smith, Davis...) on their roster and 00-01 Free Agents in Bogues and Simpkins.
But they also have some players that should be on other teams.

I could only put 13 players on some of the classic team so you should do some minor trades. If you don't want to it's ok, too. Then the Pelicans are a little more competitve.
Here are they:

Padgett to the Jazz for a 2nd Rounder
Lopez to the Wolves for a 2nd Rounder
Afterwards sing two players (random Smith, Davis, Miller...) for the Pelicans
Trade Newble and Dial to the Spurs for a 2nd Rounder
Again sign 2 players for the Pelicans
Trade Harvey to the Blazers for a 2nd rounder

Afterwards you have to adjust rotation. I attached a word-document for that reason.

Feedback welcome.
Especially something like "it's too hard to get past defenders or execute a P&R", so we can improve the gameplay.
I won't discuss particular ratings or overalls and i would suggest to play a game before even looking at them.

The sim part already works pretty good.
I ran many tests and the outcomes were all good. No big surprises like the Clippers winning the west or even making the playoffs.

Since you guys are the most passionate community i know when it comes to NBA/Gaming i would like to include you in the creating process.
I'm pretty sure i can create ratings and tendencies that fit well with the official 2k rosters, but there are also some fields i can need some help.

Here are some things i would like to see your help/suggestion:
- Badges
- Sig Shots
- Sig Moves
- Shoes
- Player creations (faces, post formulas or videos)

Just post it (or only a part of it) for your favorite team or player and you might See it in the game.


There is no guarantee every single suggestion will make it into the roster, but i will consider everything!

Your help is much appreciated, so let us create something special.

We Need to somehow get 2k to let us update the ages. Only way a roster is worth it for me is if i can use it on GM mode or my league tbh

Yeah, don't understand why they took it out, maybe they patch it back in.

With how it is now you can still play MyLeague/MyGM, but only for one season. Should still be fun.

To give you guys a quick update.
Still writing down every ratings/tendencies from the players that played in 00-01 and are still in the game (to later adjust them for the 00-01 season). For some stats/ratings i already have some kind of correlation. But still need some time to get the full spreadsheet done.

Can't wait the legends ages is a bummer and if u need help let me know I also am creating a roster 09-10 and if u need help we can do draft classes so it is fun in my league

I like the idea of draft classes. BUT without the ability to edit the age of legends most of them will retire after one year. Even with draft classes the next season won't have much similarity with the real season. Sadly.
Still hoping for a patch.

No i haven't.
Still finishing ratings and tendencies on my spreadsheet.
Also following sonicmages sportscrunch ratings and see what he comes up with before i release my roster.
So still a couple of weeks away.

Save a roster file on your harddrive.
Delete the game from your ps4.
Insert the game so it starts installing and stop the patch download (or stay offline). In game you load your saved roster file and start editing.

I think it will work this way, but maybe the file is only compatible with the newest version of the game(?).
