wasup @embracethapace. First off i want to say great work on the 2016 and 2017 draft class. I know this may be a bit much to read but its for your and anyone who read it benefit.

Ive been downloading and reading about your classes on operationsports for two years!. Now i have finally decided to join and leave feedback after two years of roster editing on my own. Your ratings are great and you've done a good job with the accuracy of the faces. i have a few of my own feedback and discoveries while editing yours plus other people draft class bases i would like to give that i hope will only enhance your class edits.



-- I think Skal Labissiere should be in the 2017 draft class instead of 2016 and Ivan Rabb should be in 2016 instead of 2017. I understand you previously stated to have a few 2016 prospects in 2017 and i think this would be a realistic switch. Skal has looked horrible this season and definitely look like he will/should return to school to raise his draft stock (which has now fallen to the bottom of the draft) and Rabb has looked every bit of a lotto pick this season along with Jaylen Brown. If you do decide to keep Rabb in 2017 draft then i would suggest rating him higher because 1 more realistic season in the NCAA will only improve his already top 10 draft status.



-- I have noticed that potential plays a large role in the order cpu teams draft players. maybe this will help you like it helps me when trying to get the draft tiers down for prospects as well as their future role after they get drafted in our myLeagues.



99-93 - A+ (HOF Potential i.e. MJ, Magic)

92-88 - A (Franchise Player Potential i.e. LeBron, Curry, Brow)

87-86 - A- (All-Star Potential i.e. LaMarcus Aldridge , Paul George, Lillard)

85-82 - B+ (Fringe All-Star Potential i.e. Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Rondo)

81-77 - B (Starter/Six man Potential i.e. Lou Williams, L. Deng, H. Whiteside)

76-72 - B- (Rotational Player Potential)

71-69 - C+ (Bench Warmer Career)

68-67 - C (Reserve/D-League)

66 & lower - (towel holder lol)



(a small tidbit, whoever you believe should be top pick/ROY 2k normally rate them around 81-83 in the next game release based on years past, I normally start my draft class base edits with the top pick to have a 81-83 overall. Also, when you look at the rookie cards for a lot of the all-star players their ratings are around 81-83 as well i.e. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving rating was 82)



-- The only concern i have with your draft classes is the number of defensive prospects. I have yet to sim 8 years to see how the prospects develop but i do think i theory that since its so many high offensive players that myLeague will suffer from horrendous defense. I do believe some of these prospects will develop into good defenders or become "3 & D" players in RL. I guess a suggestion would be to make the players that don't have starter potential more defense oriented with maybe one or two skills their good at (i.e. 3pt shooter/post player/rebounder/pure defender)



Once again, your draft classes are amazing and honestly don't need much tweaking. If it wasn't for the 2k server screwing up my uploads then i would offer my assistance to this project but i hope i have helped and you take some of my feedback into consideration as you experiment around with the potential and/or make a new update. Trust me I am in no way trying to take your hard work as i know now how much time and dedication it really takes into doing this **** lol. But like i told teondaddy1 i was gonna make a 16, 17, 18, 19, & 20 using both you guys classes as bases but if my edits can help inspire you guys like y'all work have done for mines then i hope maybe i can be that missing link to get IMO two great editors and myself working on a ultimate project. Any chance on getting Kevin Punter from Tennessee in the class? He's a senior so he will definitely be eligible for the 2016 Class. He's currently averaging 22.3 ppg (#10 in the nation) as a SG maybe will be a late 2nd-rounder.

Gotta add Dwayne Bacon I haven't seen him yet in there, yet not 100% sure if he is or isn't. He's projected to go late 1st round to the nuggets he's the SG for Florida State.

Wade Baldwin is in my 2017 class. I'm planning on adding Felder to the 2016 class at some point.

A buddy of mine and I had been debating on working with you on a class as we have a full class (16 and 17) already and have only a few things to iron out to perfection, but after seeing your ratings of players, not happening. You have Skal as a lotto pick when he's shown he's garbage. You have a guy like Caris Levert who hasn't been able to stay on the court the last 2 seasons rated 1pt lower then Denzel Valentine and with a higher potential even though DV is a POY candidate, has a higher NBA upside (think Evan Turner but more athletic and can actually shoot) and doesn't have 7000 injury concerns like Levert. Honestly your ratings are terrible. Faces and player models are fantastic, but ratings are horrible. And to not include international players because they 'probably won't sign next year anyway' makes no sense because you see international players being drafted every year and stashed overseas for a couple years to develop more, so to not include them when they'll be in this draft makes no sense. You're also missing SEVERAL first round picks that rank ahead of people you have rated as first rounders due to lack of research. Don't go boasting you make the best classes when you don't. Lmao. I was going to see if you wanted to help iron out the faces and model of some guys in our classes and put them out together but not now. All we have to do is do research on sigs and our 16 and 17 classes are finished, FULL classes, no fake players at all, and they blow yours out of the water. Yours were great in 2k15, but you really fell off this year and your scouting abilities really don't look to be that great now that there are no clear cut dominant players besides Simmons.

I don't think EmbraceThaPace updates his draft classes that often. He probably will fix everything once it is almost time for the 2016 draft. Although as a Kentucky fan, I do agree that Skal is playing like garbage, and Levert is Derrick Rose 2.0. Sorry to any Bulls fans.

I use teondaddy's but the first thing I do is go in and lower Skal's po to 81 max. I also lower stamina and remove excess badges for all. Too many potentials (all class makers) 85 and above. The league will be overrun with dwayne wades and Anthony davis's. Teon's are great for me to adjust to my liking, I am just grateful to anyone who takes the time to do these. I can always go in and fix what I perceive to be problem areas. Thanks to all Class makers from me.

That's the beauty of 2k draft classes. We can tailor the rosters to our liking. I encourage anybody to use my classes as a template to create something even better. Skal has dropped in potential now lol.

That's my bad bro. teondaddy and I made those draft classes. He made all the players and put in base ratings, I was the one that did tendencies, badges, sigs, and I've been adjusting ratings throughout the season. Skal is too high in the one you have still because teondaddy has his Internet on and off from time to time and doesn't get an updated one up. You can snag them off mine, CelticsFan_03. I still need to fix Skal and fix a few other players but I'll have an updated one up in a couple hours. As for the badges, a few players do have excess and I'm working on fixing them, but I'll use Denzel Valentine as an example. The badges I gave him I gave so that he plays like Evan Turner because that's honestly his best NBA comparison besides he has a better jumper. So the badges players have, are so they play how they really play. BUT, those badges were added months ago, so there are players that now should have badges removed that I haven't gotten around too. And potentials for some are high, but potentials in the 80's don't make them D-Wade caliber players. D-Wade when he was younger was a 90's player. Look at the top players in the NBA, their potentials are in the 90's and upper 90's. Mid to upper 80's potentials give those top draft picks the ability to become solid starters in the league (the solid starting players are all in the 80's overall) so that's why they're where they're at. You start lowering them into the 70's, they'll all become bench riders or starters for only scrub teams. Lol.
