I have actually been using the text file and putting it into an excel file and running a macro to make it look a little less intimidating. I may make it even better and if I do, I will upload it here with some instructions.

One thing I would like to say is the best part about this is you are taking constructive criticism very well and implementing changes everyone can benefit from.. One thing I have noticed from other people who create things is they get offended very fast when someone says something bad about their work; thank you for taking it in stride and improving this

i was actually going to convert it to a csv to put into a spreadsheet if the person wanted but it was having all sorts of issues with the rows/collumns and giving me dozens of errors for overloading the character count for them so i just went with text file

I'm not crazy computer literate, so forgive my question here; if we want to use your updates do we re-download the file from the 1st page of this thread? Or is it located somewhere else?

yep. if you want one of the updates just download the attachment on the main post. it will always be the latest version

if anyone on ps4 makes a draft class with this(following exact info) with 30+ players please let me know the 2k share info!

I think it would be great if all the users of this program would share their draft classes. That way we can get maybe 5 to 10 classes easy. I'll share mine once I'm finished with some of the players.

Good idea, and if turty11 is down it would be pretty cool to keep a running list of classes made with this tool in the OP. I'm trying to do something like that in the PC subforum: a central thread to compile and list all the user-created draft classes.

Yup, I was just about to say something like this. The speed at which improvements are being made based on everyone's feedback is pretty damn impressive, and nobody is really ever getting defensive (if only the rest of the forums could be like that!!). Serious props for this endeavor.

I've uploaded mine. PSN name is Eirsej. A little disclaimer: It's not as realistic as the legit draft class makers here, the faces and names are goofy. But I thought I'd share it anyway.

I know I'm in the minority on this (well as a 30 team control, offline only, myleague only guy I'm in the minority of everything on 2k....) but if the ratings are realistic, I could not care less about goofy names or faces. So I'm thrilled by this tool.

Just ran into a 6'7" 190lb SF with 87 Off/Def Rebound. I just upped his weight a bit and made him a SF/PF but this seemed a little weird to me haha

Anyway that I can use this generator on a mac? I've made draft classes the past couple years and think I'll be able to spend more time on faces and other aspects of prospects if I was able to use this

If you give a shot let me know what you think! If you have a class as well then I'd be interested in plugging it into myleague as well.

not that i know of.

should have another update out in a day or 2, will have more low player #'s, add in loyalty/financial security info, and i will take a look at rebounding #

new update:

1. player numbers will now be far more realistic.
2. offensive and defensive rebounding numbers have been lowered.
3. loyalty and financial security added to player info.

Hey in situations where you have 0's for every post up stat, is it enough to just make post up 0 and leave the rest? because if they never post up the rest should not matter right? Same with if shoot 3 is 0, shoot right 3 can be whatever?

Not necesserily.

From a gameplay perspective, If you have 0 for post up, players can still drive from the post/drive baseline. Same with stuff like post stepbacks.

Sliders also matter here.

Shot 3 is different though -- if that is 0, the location tendencies won't matter.

if post up/post shot are 0 you can get away with not changing everything else so long as that player has no post play assigned. but you risk 2k potentially giving him a post tendency (i honestly have no idea if players generate tendencies with rating changes yet after all these years)
