Any thoughts on the 2-guards in DC2? Gonna have a top 5 pick. Really just need a guy who can hit open threes, and play great defense. Current team is:

      PG - Ja Morant
      SG - Khyri Thomas
      SF - Antawn McKenzi
      PF - Derrick Favors
      C - DeAndre Ayton

      B1 - Kenyon Markota
      B2 - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

I suppose if we got #1 we could take Poythress, but we play Markota a ton at the 4. Thomas and Favors only play like 15 a game and Shai and Markota slide in. I don't know if McKenzi would be an effective starting 2 with Markota at the 3 and Poythress at the 4? And that would be a ton of high-usage guys on one team.

Ehh not a lot to work with in that draft class. Parks is okay but I’ve never seen him really develop. You would need to develop Mckenzi’s shot a bit more for him to be a knock down 3 point shooter, but I’ve definitely gotten it there before. You could always take Poythress for a year and if it doesn’t work out, he would get you a lot of in the trade market the following year.

McKenzi is a beast for us. Think it's his third year in the league (we went out of order, and traded for him sometime after his rookie year). He averaged 21ppg, just made second team all-NBA. Think his 3point is high 80s or low 90s, he was in the 3-point contest this year.

Markota had a great year too, winning ROTY and Sixth Man.

McKenzi is easily my favorite player to play with

My brother gets to play with him (player locked, I'm the PG, cousin is the Center). He also get's Markota who slides in as the backup 3, but CPU gets Markota a lot too at the 4. We play about 10 regular season games a year, sim the rest, and then play elimination games in the playoffs.

McKenzi is very effective. Kind of a weird jumper tho, don't you think? I think he's a little higher on playing with Markota, but it's splitting hairs

Yeah I had to change his jumpshot, it wasn't working for me. I think Markota will definitely end up better, but I prefer Mckenzi due to his shooting and passing. By year 5 He is averaging close to a triple double.

I've currently got a lineup of

                  PG-Tremain Dixon
                  SG-Jaykwon Owens
                  SF-Antwan Mckenzi
                  PF-Kelly Michaels
                  C-Khalil Poythress

                  SG-Clint Wolters
                  SF-Jordan Dawson
                  PF-Jonas Michaels

It took a lot of trading 5 years in advance to be able to take Mckenzi, Dixon, Michaels, and Wolters.

Ha that's fair but I always feel weird about changing jump shots. Feel like that's what you get when you draft the player, personally.

Dixon is great, he's been one of the hardest covers for me in our league. He's on the Jazz and shares the backcourt with Donovan Mitchell, they're an absolute nightmare to guard.

                      Hey everyone,

I just want to say how great of a job JB has done on his classes. It inspired me to make my own and I have finished 1, and am in the process of finishing the 2nd.

The classes I have made are very similar to his in the sense that they will have studs, busts, solid role players, guys who never live up to their potential, etc. I understand how peak age creates all of these, so no need to worry about having guys into their late 30's performing at an All-Star level like the default 2k rosters do.

I have attached a scouting report for my classes. It provides some scouting, some back story. I did not want to only do scouting and take away from the in-season scouting you will do. The scouting reports are in the same format JB uses in his classes.

Please let me know how you think the classes are. I am open to all criticism because I am just trying to make the game more enjoyable for everyone else. Let me know if I need to tweak anything at all or if you found something weird. Lastly, I would love to hear about how these guys are doing in your MyLeague, so once you use them, let me know!

My page link is right here if you guys would like to check it out.

These classes are by no means intended to take away from JB's classes and his work. I just thought that if someone else wanted additional classes out there they could use mine as well.

JB, you have done an awesome job. Looking forward to your next class!

Decided to get back into the 2K world. Read every page and I’m ready to roll. Using Tims fictional roster, I don’t want to spoil anything but Celtics had the number 2 pick and took Randall Hackett, then traded with the Mavericks for the number 4 pick and took from what I understand by reading everyone’s post the best player from this class Corey Appling. So I’m excited to see what these two have in store.

I'm assuming Fields went number 1? Would've been better off taking Quarus at 2, in my opinion. But Appling is an absolute stud.

The Jazz actually took Quarus number one, Fields went 5th to the Cavs. Through 22 games he’s averaging around 19 a game. I had the 26th pick and I went with Derek Benson Jr, he hasn’t gotten any playing time yet but he’s going to get minutes soon with my backup struggling.

These classes have been amazing from top to bottom. This was my first year using them and I loved them. I'll be looking forward to them in the next version of the game if you do them then as well.
