List of players only in historic draft classes

After reviewing all of the historic draft classes in 2K20, the following are classic players who are in the game but only available in the draft classes and aren't on any of the all-time or classic teams. They can easily be exported from the historic draft classes through the DNA feature though. Figured this list might be useful for anyone making custom rosters.


2K20 List:

1960 - Darrall Imhoff (should be on 64-65 Lakers), Lenny Wilkens
1978 - Clemon Johnson, George Johnson
1979 - Clint Richardson
1985 - Manute Bol
1987 - Reggie Lewis
1988 - Rex Chapman
1990 - Cedric Ceballos
1993 - Gheorghe Muresan
1998 - Cuttino Mobley
2000 - Darius Miles
2001 - Jason Collins (should be on 01-02 Nets)
2002 - Jay Williams
2003 - Luke Ridnour, Brian Cook (should be on 03-04 Lakers)
2005 - Jason Maxiell, Ronny Turiaf
2007 - Yi Jianlan

(Wilkens, Bol, Muresan and Miles were pulled off all-franchise teams from 2K19)

For players that are only in the historic draft classes and not found anywhere else in the game, yes...although there might be a really low rated guy or two in there somewhere that I missed. Everyone else in the historic draft classes is also in the game as a current player or on one of the all-time teams or classic teams.

Isn't Imhoff on the 65 Lakers? It'd be odd if he's in the draft class but not the classic team.

(Random trivia: He was the one guarding Wilt during his 100 point game).

He should be but he's not on their team in the game....same with Cook and the 03-04 Lakers. I double-checked the classic and all-time rosters to make sure these guys weren't in the game elsewhere. I suspect they probably just didn't touch the classic teams at all.

Yes, just go to the player and export his DNA. He will then be on your created players list and you can put him anywhere you want after that.

Jason Collins is in th 2001 draft class, I don’t think he shows up anywhere else.

Yep....he should be on the 2001-2002 Nets but isn't. I'll add him to the list.

They are face scans.....most of them, like Andre Miller, Greg Oden and Drew Gooden, are scans from the most recent version of the game that they were in.

If you want to use the DNA of one of these guys to create them for a roster, then you'll need to edit in the correct college for the CAP before you import the player's DNA. Otherwise, their college will revert back to whatever it was defaulted to when you opened up the CAP.

Doesnt matter if you do, there is a bug thatwill revert their college to a random one for all real imported NBA Dna no matter how many times you change it and save it, it will constantly revert back. Atleast on PS4 this is happening. I hope they fix this

By the way there is another annoying bug, when you import exported dna of lets say a draft class player it will instead import dna of a previously created player. It seem to load DNA out of the create a player pool instead of the Exported DNA pool
