I figured out the accessories/colors issue (I think!)

Before you download any designs, change the team colors to something close to what the team downloaded will be (this will take care of the scorebug color)

After you download the design, go into the uniform and change the collar design to anything and then change it back. Back out of that specific uniform and do it to the other two. Back out of the third uniform and hit "Complete"

This should be it.

Hey folks, can someone tell me how to use these in "Play Now" mode? I don't play seasons, I like to just play one-off games with friends and I can get the rosters loaded, but not the team designs. Am I stuck to only using team designs in MyLeague, which in turn doesn't seem to have an "exhibition" mode?

Correct unless you set up another MyLeague, then you can play the exhibition games there with whatever teams you want

Yes I’ve had this same issue I don’t know how to fix it, but maybe try to go to the players and change it manually??? I don’t know, but that could be an option

It's the jerseys. For instance, with Arizona, if I want red accesories for the red uniform, you have to add a stripe, to the side of the jersey, that is the color of the accesories you want. So for the red jersey, I put a red stripe, the same color of the jersey. Accesories colors are tied to these stripes. You welcome.

Hmm, I think I'm confused. Sorry, pretty new to NBA2K. How do you play exhibition or practice games in MyLeague? I couldn't find that option.

I just need the option to have me choose one of the custom teams and my son to choose another to play an unscheduled game. Doesn't seem like there's a way to do that.

well every team plays against another at least once on the myleague schedule. just sim to the game you want to play and then play it that way

Ahh, yeah, I was afraid of that. Doesn't allow me to just play a game ad-hoc or play multiple games with the same teams or play whatever matchup we want at any point. That's a bummer.
