Man, I really want to do a complete jersey redo for the franchises but hate how during the playoffs the crowd, cheerleaders, and everything else looks so bland compared to the ingame stuff. Kinda why I only did the two expansion teams.

Re: JB's 2k20 (PS4) Fictional Draft Classes
Started a new MyLeague for the Bulls. Landed Tre Hunter from DC1 with a lottery pick in the first draft, then traded my 4th pick up for the 1st pick in the next draft (i used DC5.) Landed Juice with that one. Also had the 16th pick in that draft and found Jonas Claver available for me there. I slid Claver over to SG and start all three of them at positions 1-3. They compliment each other so well! Also swung trades for my roster overhaul. Landed K. Love and Seth Curry as key pieces for my rotation. All this shooting surrounding Juice really allows the spacing for him to just GO. Claver and Juice play solid D as rookies as well. Excited to see how this nucleus develops.

I added 6 expansions and did a redo of all the uniforms and it has been a lot of fun seeing the rebranding people come up with.Comment

Man, I went ahead and just did redid all the teams. Just have to ignore the "All In" t-shirts. There are some really good redesigns out there.Comment

Yes, there will be one more class. I'm hoping to have it finished by next Friday 5/15. There will be a scouting report for it just like the one done for DC7.Comment

Re: JB's 2k20 (PS4) Fictional Draft Classes
Another update from my MyLeague I’m running as the Kansas City Monarchs with 6 expansion teams. Kansas City Monarchs, Kansas City Huskies, Seattle Supersonics, Las Vegas Aces, Hawaii Tropics, and the Alaska Explorers. I do 36 team control so I can control the landscape of the league.
After making it to the 2028 NBA finals with a young core of Warren Kempton and Jevon Rolle, the Orlando Magic looked ready to be the next NBA dynasty. They fell at the hands of the Kansas City Monarchs, but the future sure was bright. A loss to the Kansas City Huskies in the Eastern conference finals was followed up by a loss in the NBA finals against the Houston Rockets. The Magic could not get over the hump. The next 3 years they saw their seed slip from 1, to 3, to 7, and finally, an 8 seed where they were swept by the future NBA champs, the Detroit Pistons. Kempton and Rolle had had enough. Kempton, age 30, and Rolle 31, both realized they weren't getting any younger and needed to win quickly.
In the offseason, Kempton, Rolle, and newly acquired RJ Wallace, went to their GM and owner to convince them to put together a super team. They recruited hard in free agency and they have put together a list of aging stars, the majority of who have had little playoff success.
Their first target was SG Desmond Cooper. Cooper is a 5 time All-Star now in his 10th season at 30 years old. His first 8 years were spent on the Timberwolves, where he made the playoffs just once. Last season he was traded to Boston at the deadline before walking in free agency. When he signed with the Magic he knew there was a good chance he would be coming off the bench behind Kempton, but he said he just wants a ring.
Next the Magic went after forward DJ Trice. Trice spent his first 12 seasons in the league with the Sacramento Kings making 8 All-Star appearances and being named to the All-Defensive team 7 times. Despite his individual success, Trice never made it further than the Western Conference Semifinals. Trice, now 32, contemplated retirement in the off season after fracturing his leg, but was convinced to make a final run with the Magic.
Finally, Kempton and Rolle wanted to swing for the fences, and make a trade for Juice Harrington. Harrington has had a roller coaster of a career in his 14 seasons. The 7 time All-Star spent the first 12 seasons in Chicago before being traded to Hawaii at the deadline when Chicago went into rebuild mode. Hawaii made a run to the NBA Finals before falling to the Wizards. The Magic sent 3 future 1st round picks to Hawaii and brought the Juice to Orlando. Juice has played in only 1 NBA finals and is now 32 years old. His athleticism has fallen off, but he has turned into a very solid defender on the perimeter, and he can still make the highlight play occasionally.
The Magic then signed a pair of friends in Cy Vasileiadis, and Spiro Giannou in free agency. The Greek natives had been rumored to be a package deal in free agency. Cy, the former Kansas City Monarch, is a 3 time NBA champion with the Monarchs and brings a versatile game and playoff experience to the Magic. Cy came off the bench his entire time in KC and was twice named 6th man of the year. At the age of 33 Cy said he wanted to go out and compete for a ring one more time. Giannou, the former #4 pick to the Spurs was a bit of a late bloomer. He has no personal accolades, and has spent his entire career on an underperforming Spurs team. He gives the Magic a solid threat from outside even at 31 years of age.
Season tickets sales are off the charts for the Magic, and they are now the favorite out of the Western conference. They will be playing a lot of positionless basketball this season, but this team will be tough to take. They have have 8 solid veterans, any of whom can go off on any given night. It will be interesting to see how this season plays out for the Magic.Last edited by Jeffruel; 05-13-2020, 08:39 PM.Comment

It's intriguing to see how these players end up after a decade. In my mind they're still young and promising but this gives me a fast forward on what their careers could end up looking like. Good storylines, man!
I'm now in Year 3 in MyLeague. Tre Hunter edged out Mobley, Cooper, Livingston, and Julius Walker for Rookie of the Year. He spaces the floor so well for my Bulls and has a Steph Curry like effect on my offense. Currently working on his Perimeter D, most especially his pass perception so that for what he lacks in Defensive fundamentals, he can try to make up for by playing the passing lanes. We make the playoffs as a 7th seed and lose to the Nets in the first round in 6. An early exit, but the playoff experience will definitely assist this team in development. There is optimism for building around the Rookie of the Year gem they landed with the 14th pick and veteran Kevin Love at the 4.
In Year 2, Tre was an All-Star. He would welcome the number 1 draft pick to Chicago with much enthusiasm. The Juice was coming to town, and he was bringing #16 pick Jonas Claver with him. This trio brings life to the city as a promising nucleus for their Bulls. Claver started the season at the 2, until the coaching staff realized his scoring could be utilized off the bench. He gets more touches as their primary scoring option off the bench, allowing Tre and Juice to be the primary scoring options in the starting 5. Juice fought off Dambrauskas and Temple to win Rookie of the Year. Some thought Dambrauskas should have won and that Juice won the vote due to his marketability. Despite being Rookie of the Year, this just leaves Juice with motivation to prove himself even further. Claver lands a spot on the All-Rookie Second Team. We traded Seth Curry to Denver for Gary Harris for a much needed boost on defense. Seth Curry mentored Tre during his rookie year and was great at providing spacing on offense, but was a liability on defense. Gary provides them with a 3 & D wing to start at the 2 alongside Tre and Juice. We make the playoffs a 4th seed, defeat the Sixers in 7 in the first round, then lose to eventual Champion Nets in the 2nd round. The rebuild is showing so much promise as the team is really starting to come together. Excitement continues as they look to plug a couple holes going into the next season.
In Year 3, Tre comes into the season as the Bulls only All-Star and their Alpha Dog. His work ethic has allowed him to develop quickly. Juice is working on his outside shot and is becoming the team's leader in defense. Jonas will continue to be the team's Sixth Man and be asked to put the clamps on the opposing team's best perimeter scorer. We signed Reggie Bullock in Year 2 to provide depth on our roster and also to mentor Claver. In this year's Draft, I trade my late first round pick up and was able to land the 12th pick. With the pick I selected Everett Quinn. He will be a much needed Floor General for my second unit and initiate the offense as a point forward, allowing Claver to shoot at will. I packaged a couple 2nd Round picks to land the first pick in the 2nd Round and found Elias Viggiano available for me there. We believe we've found a sleeper in Viggiano, and see him filling a much needed void at Center alongside Kevin Love. He provides the team's need of rim protection and also opens up the offense even more for Tre and Juice as a great playmaking big man. The ball moves so well with this team and the spacing is great.
The rotation currently looks like the following:
Tre Hunter
Gary Harris
Juice Harrington
Kevin Love
Elias Viggiano
Jonas Claver
Everett Quinn
Cory Joseph
Dwayne Dedmon
Reggie Bullock
Excited to get Juice to an All-Star level and take this team passed the 2nd round of the playoffs. Developing Quinn's jumpshot is also a priority. He also has the physical gifts to be a solid defender, will train him to work on his On-Ball D so that he can impact the game more than just on the offensive end as a point forward. The rebuild is nearing completion and is reaching to be a promising contender in the next couple years. The Bulls are back!

Man. Just about to start up to 2025 season and the player progressions are up. I make it a promise to myself not to look at players peak starts and ends and got damn. There are some teams crying right now because who they thought were stars are anything but. Been a few years so the results are kind of crazy.Last edited by Pharcyde82; 05-14-2020, 11:57 AM.Comment

Man I am the biggest Tre Hunter fan. He was my first pick in my first MyLeague I ran and I absolutely loved playing with him.
Dambrauskas is the man! he is currently 33 in my MyLeague and is 6th all time in 3's hit, but Juice edged him out for rookie of the year in mine as well. Juice was a guy that never put up crazy numbers in my MyLeague, but man he was impossible to play against. He ended up with a pretty solid 3 point shot too so that made matters even worse for me.
Evertt Quinn is the MAN. No idea how, but he fell to 36 for me and I start him at PF, and then run him at PG with the 2nd unit. He always has a very Draymon Green type of stat line with like 11 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists.
I like your squad you've got going. Interested to see who you end up drafting in the coming years tooComment

Re: JB's 2k20 (PS4) Fictional Draft Classes
End of the 2024 season and the Pelicans with their star quartet of Zion, Brandon Ingram, Julius Walker, and Lonzo Ball knock out the Milwaukee Bucks 4-0. Despite the lopsided record, every game this series went down to the wire. The Pelicans entire team from the superstars to the bench players simply stepped up and played to their potential. Coming into the playoffs as a 7 seed in the west conference, and barely making it in at that, they had to make it through the super strong 2nd seed Phoenix Suns. A tight series that ended in an overtime buzzer beater by Brandon Ingram. After that flirt with disaster the Pelicans never looked back.
The Bucks on the other hand have got to be disappointed. They went through a murderers row of opponents to make it back to the Finals to defend their title. In the second round the Knicks came out blazing and would not go away. Domantas Sabonis, Jason Sanders, and RJ Barrett played with no fear and took the Bucks to 7 games. After that their next opponent were the number 1 seed Memphis Grizzlies who was also their opponent last season in the conference finals. Despite the constant fireworks by Morant and Cooper, speaking of Cooper he scored 50+ points in consecutive games, the Bucks did make it back to the Finals only to run into the hottest team in the league.

Re: JB's 2k20 (PS4) Fictional Draft Classes
Maaaaaaaaaaan. Clippers hit the tank button and managed to get the number one pick in the draft and good lord it was worth it. DJ Trice first game - 37 pts, 7 reb, 4 ast, 1 blk, 3 turnovers, 17-29 fg 1-6 3pt. He was unbelievable. I've played enough seasons and seen enough eventual busts so I will wait and see what he turns into, but he has got the be top 3 out of all your classes at first glance.Comment
