Thanks for being patient man. Means a lot. This has been a lot. @JCross and I can tell you when we are working on this our days just fly by. It's hard to manage other things for sure. But we are two teams away from testing then an in detail attribute edit will be done then we will be finished!

Working hard as hell on this roster guys. @JCross and I have been staying up super late, night after night. But tonight we discovered something that makes gameplay even more realistic!
So, I'm not sure if anyone else in the thread who works on tendencies a ton but if so I bet you have noticed this as well. So, a little issue we always had is that some guys just get the ball too much even though their "touches" tendency isn't too high.
Here's the team we figured this out with. The Boston Celtics move the ball so well and have a lot of guys to feed.
Kemba Walker 28.6 usage rating
Jayson Tatum 28.1 usage rating
Jaylen Brown 23.8 usage rating
Gordon Hayward 21.2 usage rating
As you can see, a lot of guys to feed and not a big disparity in usage ratings.
Ok, so the formula we have for tendencies in our roster is.
Kemba 28.6= 88 touches tendency (No rounding)
Tatum= 28.1 = 88
Brown= 83
Hayward= 81
But in game Kemba was getting way too many plays called for him. Compared to the other 3 players. So, we took "play initiator" off. Then that's when touches and plays were being called absolutely accordingly to their usage ratings /touches. And plays were being ran at an smoother rate. It was beautiful. Boston was moving the ball incredibly! One play Kemba. Next play Tatum. And so on . And so on. Guys were getting their turns to score the ball and to initiate!
So, of course that didn't stop us. We tried a lot more teams and it's confirmed "play initiator" screws up touches and discipline tendencies for players which are extremely important.

As you can see, we are putting our all in this roster! Can't wait to get this out to you guys soon!

So you’re saying no one should have play initiator? I’m kind of confused with this because some bigs can carry the ball up court and initiate an offense.

I think that's a 2K glitch or it's hard coded.

I play with a different team every time I play and there are players (bigs) that don't initiate the offense IRL but do in 2K.

McGee, Howard, Bomba, Boban, etc. They will bring the ball down the court. I've used a few different rosters and seen the same thing. At least 2/3 times a game it happens.

Yes. And already been testing a ton. Other guys will still bring the ball down. Kawhi will get a rebound and he will go with it. Doesn't matter if he has initiator or not.

That's a glitch. A glitch that hasn't been fixed since release.

You should try taking play initiator off for Westbrook, he sometimes shoots more than Harden. At least with my sliders.

Glad you brought this up. We were testing Bucks and Rockets cause they run most isolation in the league. And rely on mainly one guy to do it all. So, we did leave Play initiator for Giannis , Harden , and Westbrook. Cause when you take play initiator teams share and move the ball more. But with those two teams that's not how they operate. Bucks looked amazing. And the Rockets looked great too. We kept initiator for Harden and Westbrook. They were taking turns but it was still more Harden.

Ok, so here's some proof that with initiator off Blake or Kristaps will still push the pace and bring the ball up when they want to.

I’m a little confused, does everyone push the ball without initiator? Does it has something to do with one of the badges? Oh just drive tendency

By the way, since you’ve been testing so much, it would be great if you could do a guide or something for things you’ve figured out. Only if you want to, it might be a lot of extra work. It could possibly help with future games as well.

This is what they told me a couple of days ago. We are just going to have to wait for a patch to fix it. It's really frustrating. Been waiting for an player likeness for so long then this bull **** happens. [emoji58]
