Hi Mj. I get what you're trying to ask, but I don't understand the dilemma?

If you have a roster saved locally to your console, it will remain there indefinitely, even after the servers are shut down. The rosters I created in 2K16 are still there for me to use.

Are there other purposes you had in mind? Files saved locally will remain forever, unless perhaps you're theorizing about the possibility of sharing files after the servers go down, with the use of a USB for instance? If that's the case, then I don't have any first hand knowledge about that. In my understanding, it is not possible to do so.

There was one user on here who claimed it was in fact possible to save a console roster file onto an external hard drive. There were a few posts about it in a thread, but I didn't investigate further. Perhaps there's some information about it somewhere out there, haven't looked, but I doubt it.

Hi Zeke! Yeah, i asked this because i wanted to know if there was any possibilty to share my work after the server go down.
Like i did with PES files (Pro Evolution Soccer), i saved the teams\leagues on my USB, uploaded them on my google Drive Archive and then let other people download them from there into their USB and finally into the ps4\ps5.

Sorry man, don't have any info on that. Did some quick research, and found nothing.

I'm aware that PES allows for external file storage, as do some other games, but I wonder how far this capacity reaches on the playstation platform as a whole. I don't suppose 2K affords us that possibility, otherwise someone would have figured it out by now. I would be willing to experiment with it, but to be honest I'm deathly scared of accidentally losing or corrupting my files in the process lol.
