Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K23

I strongly recommend for everyone! Call timeouts and use team adjustments on defense! Timeout to halt runs and team adjustments on defense to slow down a guy who is killing.

I think player lock might just be dead man. Not your fault at all. Fantastic roster. You did a wonderful job man seriously! The sliders are good too with your latest adjustment for the cpu at 62 3pt. The problem is that the Ai is shooting at the clip it’s supposed to, but the ai defense just doesn’t defend at the level that matches the offense.

This opens up a world of issues playing in player lock. Help not coming and getting back fast enough to close out in shooters. Screens getting guys too much space too easily (2K designed it this way to compensate for the heavy jump shot defense strength in their games that don’t allow for contested shots to fall at all).

Gonna try out the non player lock set so I can have control over the defense. Overall though, I’m having an amazing time this year with 2K because of you.





This is exactly how the cpu should be shooting given the poor defense being played by my cpu teammates.

Just got absolutely smoked in this game.

I just had a great game on player lock last night. But I will keep what you are saying in mind for sure. I can easily make user defense better. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Great rosters man, Thunder are so much fun to use. Just an fyi though one thing I noticed you don’t have Schroeder starting for the Lakers

Whatever you did to the 76ers worked. Embiid just dropped 46 on me and his teammates looked for him all game. Out of interest, what fixes did you implement to achieve this?

Free throw numbers looking pretty good too! Is there anything that can be done to make the CPU miss more often from the line? Their FT%a are very high.

I may lower the CPU shooting sliders a tad, but that's because I suck lol.

Thanks man. We had to do quite a bit. Change the playbook (think they are using team 4 playbook), touches tendency all around, coaching settings, and discipline tendency.
I've tried free throw difficulty on 55 but then the CPU misses too much. So, it's kind of a catch 22 thing. 50 they make a lot. 55 it seems they miss a lot.
Yeah, today I'm going to a lot of testing and see how the success numbers are looking.

Wondering the following: If coaches are moved to other teams, do playbooks and game plans remain the same as how you’ve edited them? For example, if I put Embiid on Chicago and bring Doc Rivers to Chicago, will they run the same 76ers offense that you spent time editing?

Yeah so if you do a fantasy draft it would mess up the playbook and rotations. But if you were to move his coach like you said then yes the playbook would follow. The roster will either be done tonight or tomorrow. [emoji91]
